Sorry I have not been active.

I agree with Jaguar that Pbug could've voted Yaw instead of just giving
a FOS. It's early in the game and there are 6 votes needed for a lynch
so I dont see how 2 votes can be too much of a problem.

I think there's something fishy with Uraj45's last post, but I can't put
my finger on it. It's just the way he says it probably. I was about to vote for him, but then I read his first post and thought it would be stupid for a nerd to say that magic the gathering's the best if he was a nerd.

I'm in between voting for Uraj45 and Pbug, and maybe Argoti (my gut tells me). I'll sleep on it and see what happens from now until tomorrow, if I can come online tomorrow.

I didn't vote because I wanted to be careful. Sometimes I do things too quickly and end up being lynched. If you want me to vote...

melchizedek -- From what I've seen, conversation doesn't really start until someone has a second vote on them. I decided to provide that to spur conversation. Nobody's likely to screw up if there's no pressure anywhere, so without that initiative the town would have no suspects. Now, as you can see from the conversation since my vote, we have several. You have to at least admit this is an improvement.

BadAndie -- We needed pressure on someone, somewhere, and I thought you more likely than either of the participants in the MtG argument. As it stands now, I'm thinking you're town...though mostly because of the newbieness. I do find your harping on my crap vote strange, especially since I already admitted it was a crap vote, and as a result of PBuG's reaction the "bandwagon" on you consists of only one vote. But I can chalk that up to not paying attention, for the time being.

PBuG -- You didn't answer my question of you on the last page. Why the unbandwagoning? Coupled with the admission that you're trying to be careful, I think I have good reason for upgrading my FOS.

I didn't vote for Yaw either, even though I was a little suspicious of him. So I'm not really suspicious of PBug for doing the same thing.
Ack, I'll put a vote on someone tomorrow. Not sure who yet.

In order to get suspicious behaviour, we need to get pressure on someone to start posting more. If we all just posted only for people that had no votes, we'd get very little discussion. I think bandwagonning is needed to a certain extent and so far Yaw has been the only one putting pressure on people. I must say, BadAndie has nicely entered the conversations. To me this case of bandwagonning has cleared BadAndie so far, even though she was going on about why Yaw picked her for some time, when he had stated it was basically random.

I am wondering about Uraj a bit as he has posted a few times, most of the posts again are not saying much. In this case it is not really any blatant "posting to post" situation like BadAndie (and I agree with Talitha that I would rather have people post a bit of nothing than nothing at all so I know they are watching what is going on).

For now I am keeping my vote on PBuG, although he has now voted for Yaw, but I don't have any new targets as of yet and perhaps we can get some more discussinos happening.

I will, however, keep my eye on Argoti (only 1 post to date) as well.
I need a new tagline...

to be honest, i don't find PBug worthy of a FOS yet. Maybe it's just something that i am not getting that everyone else is. :?:

However i will agree with Jaguar.
FOS
Argoti for having all but one post. there has been plenty of good talk and no reason for not posting.

I get quite suspicious of people who are content to sit back and not post anything (possibly so they don't make any mistakes?), yet they appear and post as soon as someone FoSes them.

Just a little note: I'm going home from Saturday night until Monday morning because of an illness in the family. There is internet access there, but because of the circumstances I might not be on during that time period. I apologize in advance for any disruption.

As much as I'd like to upgrade my FOS on PBuG, I did some quick counts.

Code: Select all

Name	Posts
Argoti	2
BadAndie	11
Jaguar	4
melchizedek	2
PBuG	3
Samadhi	5
Talitha	8
thorred	2
Uraj45	6
Vraak X	0
Yaw	11

Post count does not include confirms or comments directly to the mod.
Vraak X is excused for the moment.
Of the 3 low post counts, I must agree that Argoti's are in need of prodding most. thorred is next, IMO
So to prod,

But there are arguments going on and you're not even voicing what views you'd be reinforcing, Argoti. It's looks like you're trying hard not to be noticed for expressing a viewpoint.

Lets see... so far we have

A. Either mafia killed Isaac or killed Meme as soon as she replaced him. I could go either way, but I'm leaning towards the latter.

B. Inactive players need to get posting. Of course they do. I fall into this, but eh.

And
FOS on BadAndie
, 3rd vote seems unwarrented.

To whom it may concern:

Please excuse BadAndie from school from Friday, March 12th 2004 - Monday, March 22nd 2004. For she is coming home for spring break, and sadly it is hard to get onto the internet.

Well, it is now Thursday, three days since thorred's last post. And thorred only posted after she got pointed out as not posting.

Melchizedek's last post in this thread was on Sunday and he has posted since in other threads, albeit only twice, but the last time was a recent as yesterday. Why not check in here?

Looking forward to see what Vraak X has to say. I don't know if it would be better to vote for a non-poster at this time or to keep my vote on one of the two bandwagons. I have to say that both bandwagons are based on minor stuff, but so far that is all we have.

Participation seems to have been going down, I agree.

PBuG's disappeared since the bandwagon on him started; his last post was just after thorred's last one. Melchizedek has only posted twice, but at least posted some content both times, which makes him better than Argoti when the Argoti-wagon started. Then again, he hasn't posted for a longer time. I'm feeling more forgiving towards thorred because her last post seemed to indicate she'd be having trouble getting online (that "
if
I can come online tomorrow" comment), though she hasn't posted much and I'd prefer to see an explicit "I'm having access problems" message.

I'd like to see what Vraak X has to say, as he has the advantage of being able to look at this whole situation with new eyes.
Argoti wrote:I really like the way you guys are going after me when there are 3 people with fewer posts here than me...
While technically correct, the only reason he's been posting more is because his lurking started getting votes. Besides, one of the three mentioned here is Vraak, who was away, and thorred implicitly indicated problems external to this game preventing her from contributing. It's not really a fair analysis.
