My personal opinion on this matter is that it would have been the best if he could be warned once.

But the ultimatum is serious and there are others who are requesting him gone, AND don't want thor (the person giving the ultimatum) to replace out.

Just for reference sake, if transcend is reported for these posts would he get banned/warned?

I'm only one listmod and as such I can't definitively answer this question on my own, but my last few posts should hint at my choice on the matter.

To put it simply, I am more inclined to force replace him if more than one person wants that to happen. In this case, there's at least 3 who wouldn't mind him being replaced.

WOTC is for signups, but force replacement isn't something that needs an excessive amount of formal justification. As a mod, you have full control of who plays your game, and if you feel that a player is "over the line" then it's a choice within your jurisdiction to make. (An exception would be when a player is reported and we take action while they're still in the game, though when we decide on what action to take, what games the action would affect are taken into account.)

But my point is that "no personal attacks" is a part of your rules, and in putting it there you've committed yourself to enforcing it. I'm still not sure how you stand on that, but the rule should never be implemented just for show.

In the way that modkills for role PM screenshots or whatnot are done in order to help repair the integrity/health of the game, so are force replacements for behavior. Just noting that, as I personally don't think it should be a very difficult decision to make.

Obviously I intend on enforcing that rule. It is just I have never seen a force replacement for something like this, generally a warning is given first.

If you're unsure as to whether a mod action would be acceptable or not, you can ask a listmod. Luckily Marquis is a listmod, so the situation sorted itself out pretty well.

I would not get upset with a mod for force-replacing over something like that (although I'd have tried to stem it in the bud with a warning earlier if I were online as it was starting).

Note that according to the site rules, this is your call, but I'd strongly encourage you to force-replace in this situation. 917 in particular is well over the line.

I will be force replacing transcend. I needed a second opinion and I got it.

1) The list moderators do checks for alt-related cheating now and again. (Regular moderators don't normally have enough information.)
2) No, they aren't.

(Also, note that it's perfectly fine for players to replace into a game on an alt, just so long as none of their other accounts is involved in the game.)

Hmm...would it be alright to give the dead thread link to the force replaced player? I am sorry for asking so many questions, don't know whether it would have any effects. Personal opinion would be to give it to him since I can't forsee any problems.

Did he ask for it? If not, I wouldn't give it in order to avoid trouble.

The parenthesis contains what is going to be sent in the PMs, whereas the square brackets contain the success/failure state of the action.

Well, those night actions are quite a mess! Assuming they don't change, it'll be interesting to see what, if anything, people claim tomorrow.

Town had amazingly accurate targeting; they tracked scum to a kill, gunsmithed scum, and vigged scum. Meanwhile, the scum managed to negate all three actions: they killed the tracker, doctored the vig shot, and have a Vanilla Cop role that can claim out of the Gunsmith result. (That said, I have a suspicion that Shadow_step may end up getting lynched anyway.)

Scum came off rather better from the exchange because town need the help from power roles much more than scum do, and so cancelling all the town power out is a huge step forwards for scum. (At this point, the vig's only benefit from shooting is to confirm themself as a vig and thus town; they won't get a benefit from the kill itself due to even/odd considerations.)

All that said, Thor's night action hasn't been submitted yet, has it? I'd laugh so much if he decides to use it and protects IAI.
