Lightly means that there is some ground.
I don't believe a townie townreads someone for so little, it looks fabricated.

It's okay to townread someone if they do a towntell. That's what towntells are for. It would only be weird if the read wasn't fluid or if I sat on it and didn't do anything with it.

Except you stated it as more than a light towntell

that's because it was a strong towntell that's hard to fake by scum

It's hard for scum to write the word "no"?

Yes. A scum player would be compelled to add "because...". Of course this goes out the window if Carey knows that I'll townread him for that, but I've never played with him before.

That just seems more playstyle-indicative than anything. If I'm terse and minimalist as town I'm going to emulate that as scum. This is seriously the easiest tell in the world to fake.

There's a difference between town terse and scum terse

Except it's not a strong towntell and I see scum do it all the time

Probably because you don't fully understand the tell

No I do
Letting an opportunity to 'town' it up pass is pretty common scumplay
I agree him overjustifying reads would have been a scumtell
Not doing so isn't a strong towntell however

Maybe we're playing with different people then because I have never seen scum let an opportunity pass

I'm increasingly happy with my vote.

This was three days ago. People are doing things now, do you have anything to say about it?

I don't really care how happy you are with your vote because it's misguided tbh

pistachi0n, ConManMick, and ChaosOmega all have not posted in 48 hours at least and have been prodded.
I care because it struck me as overly serious for page 1, which pinged my scum-dar, but I wasn't sure because I didn't think it was a big deal if it really was just silly RVS. The "why do you care?" also strikes me as scummy, like you're trying to figure out how I want you to think.

No real read on pistachi0n yet, though she needs to say more.
Townread on Tiershift for going after Accountant for solid reasons.
