Vote Count

Zoneace 1 (Someone)
Yggdrasil 5 (Bluesin, Tigris, nard054, thorred, Coolbot)
BadAndie 1(Yggdrasil)
Quailman 1 (BadAndie)

Thanks BlueSin for telling me about Yggdrasil's split vote syndrome, which is now fixed.

I think I also voted for Yggdrasil today.
I don't think you did.

All these votes on Yggdrasil, and where is he? My vote stays, I see no reason to change it yet.

And where did Nanook come from? :?

Sorry, I had an OChem midterm today. Been busy studying recently.

Anyway, first off I'll
unvote: BadAndie
. Now I'll answer some questions.
Quailman wrote:I'm not sure I buy into the logic behind Yggdrasil's votes right now
Well, you shouldn't buy the logic of my first random vote, nor should you buy the logic of my vote against BlueSin as that was not based any logical analysis of the game. However, you should understand the logic for my vote against BadAndie because you were voting for her too.

Anyway, I saw the connection between BadAndie and nard when nard tried to defend BadAndie and start a counterbandwaggon. I even had in my notes that if BadAndie turned out to be scum to immediately off nard. So, I don't think Quailman woul have to hava an informational role to see that.

Right now, though, I find CoolBot somewhat suspicious. Right now, all of hs votes (with the exception of his OMGUS first vote), have been on bandwaggons. Specifically, he was thrid on the first bandwaggon against me, thrid on the bandwaggon against BadAndie, and now he's placing the penultimate vote on me.

As I stated before, I think that mafia (on day 1) will encourage bandwaggons against innocents for making small mistakes (like those made by me and BadAndie). However, they will do so in a way that will not make them too open to criticism, and third on a bandwaggon seems like a pretty safe place to be. When you lynch an innocent, the next day people usually examine those who started the bandwaggon, usually the first and second votes. So, being the third or fourth on a bandwaggon will help get the bandwaggon going, without putting oneself in a position of accountability for the bandwaggon, which is ideal for the mafia. In addition, one is gaining favor with the other two bandwaggoners by agreeing with them. So, I'll upgrade my previous FOS against CoolBot to a
vote: CoolBot

Thorred, FYI:
I, in post 32, wrote:unvote: BadAndie; vote: Yggdrasil
I went back to BadAndie later.

And what is Nanook talking about? Are you a mason also? You say "we didn't bother to talk to each other." Huh?

busted! we didn't bother to talk to each other! unvote whoever i was voting for and vote quailman
sorry about that, i was using his computer and didn't notice that he didn't sign out his user name. He has his computer setup so that you don't see the pics under the names, i didn't notice until i posted in another game and he asked me if he was signed out. SORRY about the mix up

unvote: ygg
, for the sake of further discussion and to prevent a possible quick lynch. I still don't find quailman suspicious, even if the masons didn't speak with each other last night, the game mechanics would still require them to be together (i.e. giving them a chance to speak together), of course I'm not certain if this is quailman's role, nor do I think that should be disclosed, as it could potentially help the town a considerable amount, but keeping the mafia in the dark is a good idea.

It was common a while ago to think that the mafia was the third vote (for similar reasoning), but then that became common knowledge and it turned into the fourth, but then random once that was figured out, anyhows history is cyclical, so a
fos: coolbot
might be warranted just for two third votes, but at the same time I would have likely voted similar to him in such circumstances as it seems to have been logical (to me at least ^_^)

Whether they met or not, I do not know. I didn't know they were masons when I randomly voted one, then the other. I
speculated
about how BadAndie could have reached her conclusion, but I have no such role.
I did not see anyone together last night, nor did I say that I did
. I thought I believed you, but you're still acting wierd.

Please explain the rationale behind your vote, BadAndie. Or maybe don't. If you're a mason, as you say you are, I want to get on with finding scum.

Now for a bit of houskeeping. It appears that BadAndie changed Nanook's vote to me when it should not have changed. Not that Nanook doesn't have the right to vote for me, but I'd like for him to make up his own mind.

Apologies for everyone in this game, but I will have to ask for a replacement. I will not have regular internet access for a while, so I have to be replaced in all of my games.

(BTW-If anyone could point me towards the limited access thread, that would be helpful)
This is just here so my posts don't look so ugly when I edit them.

In my post where I pointed out that Quailman voted for both masons, I even said that it was probably a coincidence, and I still stand by that. My vote for Ygg stays. He seems the most suspicious at this point.

Tigris unvoted Yggdrasil, who now has
4
votes, not 5. I don't like the way Yggdrasil's bandwagon got started, and in looking around, I see CoolBot as the most suspicious. When I was going back and forth with BadAndie, I was really surprised that more people didn't jump on her. It would have been a perfect opportunity (IMO) for scum. Only Yggdrasil and CoolBot joined me. So I guess I suspect YGG for that as well, but they are attacking each other, so for now I will
vote: CoolBot
.

So Quail, I'm suspicous because I agreed with you? I don't see why it was suspicous for me & Ygg to vote Andie but not for you.

And BlueSin, and particular reason you're voting for me, or are you simply following others this time around?

what's bugging me :

1. Coolbot - votes jumping around, (but not without reason).

2. Bluesin - gutish

3. Someone - not much said as with ZONEACE

I thought about voting Coolbot, but I'm keeping my vote on Yggdrasil, I still think he's the scummiest.

Zoneace, however, doesn't really have an excuse for being suspiciously silent in this game.

Right now, you are not contributing at all. In a game, I would rather have a mafia who contributes to discussion, posts ideas and thoughts, and makes observations on the game, rather than one who just states he will not post for posting sake. Even if you are a townie, you are pretty much being useless to the town right now. At this point in the game, if you don't have anything to add, you're either incredibly stupid and unobservant, or you are abstaining from posting in order to hide something.

Also, if you are town, calling your teammates "sad and pathetic" is not a good move. I think that it's about time to get rid of you unless you make yourself usefull to us:
