This game was going so well for town, too, until everyone decided to replace out.

Don't worry guys, I think I've got a pretty solid null-town going for me overall RN. If we can keep it on Ank/Brig and Nim for just a bit longer (we can maybe even get away w/ a PL on nim) I think we'll pull out of day 1 just fine.

I feel sick for the way I came at Ank. I'm really sorry. I think I need her to be more docile, though, if we're going to push a mislynch on her. I might back off on her. I don't know if I can go the whole game feeling like this and having to treat people this way.

Ank, I'm really sorry for attacking you the way I did. I understand what it's like to be in your position - regularly mislynched and misunderstood, not particularly willing to case anyone because no one will believe it anyways - most people have completely different ways of reading the game, will read it differently than you did, or simply think it's a weak case (even though most cases in mafia are weak and lynches are often pushed through on last minute gut reads that are basically based on how that player made you feel recently). I understand the desire to try to explain yourself, to spend pages and pages hoping someone will understand that you don't think like other people, you don't play like other people, and you don't want to be read like other people. But you doing it in the game thread doesn't get you further. If you'd like, I'm more than willing to talk to you about it outside the game, after the game is over. I recognize that I come across as pretty narcissistic here and I guess this could be me making excuses for bad play "I only do poorly because people misunderstand me," but I ask that you try to see through that because I guarantee that's not what I'm going for here. I recognize my play is utterly garbage and I'm probably pretty bad myself, but I will never learn or grow unless someone else tells me I'm screwed up (and how, just saying "you're bad" doesn't help).

Whatever. I've come off track a little here, but my point is, I don't think posting in the game thread will help you all that much. It might minimize the number of times you're falsely mislynched, but it also keeps people from reading everything you post. I don't know. I think you've played mafia on this site a lot longer than I have, so I apologize if this is overstepping my bounds. I guarantee I want nothing but to help, and to apologize for making you feel bad for trying to feel understood. I'm sorry it has to be after the game that you can read this, too, because I'm going to feel like an utter piece of crap until you forgive me and realize I did this because I'm mafia and because I'm a bad person and I'd rather win than keep my relationships. Maybe that's a problem I need to fix.

I don't know creature, but I certainly wouldn't have minded xtoxm taking the tictac slot. I wonder if the mod did this on purpose.

Your slot is town read by most

Tomorrow is going to be critical, and I think with the Brigette lynch (not mod confirmed yet but I'm going to work with it), we are in a really good position to push a mislynch. I am thinking about pushing a wagon towards chara, who is active, and has some town reads, but is also in a few null-scum piles too. Their vote on Brigette was pivotal in getting that lynch through from what I can tell.

I am a little concerned about your unexplained scum read on me. It brings suspicion to our slots, and although Enter and I had a lot of interactions, it's now occurring to me that we both forgot to actually talk about reads on each other (oops!). We have to be extremely careful about associatives here, as one scum lynch costs us the game, and all of our buddies have to flip for us to win. I avoided the tictac wagon in the game, but explained why, and nobody seemed to take suspicion to it.

There's a lot of information in here. I am not sure what your catch up is going to look like, but hopefully nothing in here would look like a slip under the assumption you skimmed the thread.
