I'm going to need some opinion here on what's been happening so far. There's been at least a little readable content to go off of at this point.

I'm trying to win this game. All of my actions have been in pursuit of that. I wouldn't characterize anything that I've done as a hissy fit, I've been reasonably calm and deliberate in my approach to this game. Karnage pushing me for stuff he knows isn't scum indicative is something that I should have a problem with. I haven't taken any sorts of jabs at anyone in this game. I get weirded out whenever I get into situations like this and people act like I'm being the bad guy without even approaching verbally abusing anyone or doing anything rules questionable. It sucks that Karnage wasn't enjoying the game and I'm not happy about that but I don't feel like I should compromise on optimal play because Karnage doesn't like me insinuating that my reads are good and can help town win games that town would otherwise lose when it's an objectively true statement.

Basically I'm not apologizing, I'm not even approaching an apology. If my approach isn't fun for anyone then I'll avoid playing in your games but I won't act like I've done something wrong when I haven't.

Of course I remembered that, and thought of it. To me, the major distinction was provocation. wth0s was actually scumreading you. What you did here was the equivalent to freaking out over RVS.

Tonally it felt a different - a little more frustrated rather than directed at X player with a purpose of lynching X player (eth0s). However, I am trying not to rely on that because I was reading you in that game as SCUM so I may have perceived tone differently.

P-edit: It’s not a big deal. I like playing with you in general. In the end I have a read on your slot which I didn’t before so, all’s well that ends well.

Also, what’s your read on Karnage right now?

I do and I don't like hurting people's enjoyment of games.

But the fact that we conflict in playstyle doesn't mean that I'm doing something wrong.

To me it just seemed a little premature, like no one was actively trying to lynch you or anything, so it read to me as flying off the handle.

If scum aren't trying to rush a hammer on me, no harm done and maybe interesting discussion results.

If they were and I let it happen I'm partially culpable for the loss that happens.

As town I try to play around as many paths to a loss as possible. That means preempting concerns like that before I get to L-1 and make sure that votes on me are hyper scrutinized.

I guess I can see where you were coming from.

But as one of the votes on the wagon, my vote was 100% tongue in cheek RVS meant in good natured fun.

There's a reason my approach was more so what do we do about this now and less kill Karnage with fire.

Unfortunately that isn't really an argument for me being town in this game bc as scum I wouldn't want to be someone's venge target either but I was trying to figure out why he was doing what he was doing.

I'm not totally null. I can see it both ways and I was hoping to see what chkflip does.

I think based on Karnage, I’d lean scum on that slot. Being in RC’s targets in a vengeful seems like a bad situation for scum. But I don’t really know Karnage so that type of thing is hard to say without experience on a player.

I was more interested in your thought process as a means to sort you, not Karnage. I’ll form my own opinion there. I just thought it wasn’t fair not to return an answer.

I think it's very difficult to read fundamentally NAI emotions; I think that Karnage's emotionality was fundamentally sincere but that isn't an indication of whether he is town or he is scum.

I don't think he was lying about how he felt whether he's town or scum or I'd have seen it.
