Why so? If I saw someone try to pull off that kind of gambit, I'd want to townread them as well.

I mean, of course you'd say that :P
What about it is town-indicative? You said yourself that it was obviously fake.

I’d agree that Egix could be scum this game

The attempt at crafting/executing it?
Plus, it's clear from tone it's not really a -serious- townread, he's just meming around. Do you still think it's scummy given the additional context?

I think it's slightly likelier for town to pull off that sorta gambit to bait scum daykills, over scum pointlessly faking them. You can disagree with me on this, and my awareness of this should negate any townpoints TSE did award me for it; but it's a valid reason to throw out a townread on someone early game.

It's not clear to me that the read isn't serious. But also, the read can't be both serious and memeing.
It's ambiguous and I'd like to hear what TSE has to say about it. I can see your logic but I'm not convinced it's where town!TSE would go in their logic.

“I’ll say” is like “I’ll take it as”

What’s your point on this?

Overtime Auro’s Alignment will be more clear for me.
As for RN I’ll consider him Town.

Make sense?

But to all Masons out there try and put your buddy in scum Reads but don’t actually vote them.
Try and make Mafia think the masons are within the Town reads and make them end up targeting a VT and dying.
It appears you are attempting to disrupt possible future attempts to identify masons. I would like to point out that this tactic is likely to backfire.

Yeah I think there’s actually more value for VTs to inflate their townreads as a sort of mason cover

If you can justify a strong townread on someone and get the scum to believe you’re masons and shoot you, that outs a scum and clears a town

Considering that we
don't
want scum to identify them... why is this such a problem?

This is also likely to backfire now that it has been pointed out.

Hopefully the masons are able to accurately disguise each other just fine.

Your aether appears to be aligned with the light, which I am grateful for. We could use all the help we can get in this fight.

As for others, you will have to point them out. I am blind and rely on a soul's aether for sight and identification.
