Town True Flip
(
Town
/ True Flip)

While you are still alive, all deaths cause flips and all flips show the true role and and any information the moderator has hidden from the player. Redactions still work as normal.

Mod Note: This overrides any roles that suppress or alter flips.

Mafia Ninja
(Mafia / Ninja)

You do not appear to visit to roles like Tracker, and you do not appear to roles that rely on movement, (like Motion Detector.)

If you're part of an uninformed faction, you're now part of an informed faction, and vice versa. Town always becomes mafia/werewolf, depending on moderator discretion, and mafia/werewolf/cult/alien becomes town. Third party just switches to another third party, I'd assume.

NK-Immune Miller Vigi
(Town / NK-Immune + Miller + Vigilante)

You cannot die to any kills preformed during the night.
You will passively return a
Serial Killer
result to any roles that investigate you.
Each night, you may attempt to kill another player in the game.

Mafia Setup Normalizer
(
Mafia
alignment, Setup Normalizer Role)
During the setup/design phase (but after all cards have been selected), all roles (including this one) will be converted to the closest matching Normal Role.

In general, moderator discretion shall prevail in cases of ambiguity; however, moderators should strongly consider vanilla (or "Flavored X" where X is the alignment title) if there is no normal role that matches reasonably. In particular, this role should be converted to a vanilla of its respective faction.

Town Reserve Player
(Alignment Town/ Role Reserve Player)

At the beginning of the game, choose a dayphase in which you will enter the game. You do not count as a living player, cannot be targeted by actions, and will not be included in Votecounts or the OP until that phase. If the game would end before you join it you do not win.

Faithless Cult Leader
(Cult/Faithless (Cult Leader))

You will never appear to be aligned with the cult.

If your alignment is Cult, you will automatically be the Cult Leader. In addition, your fellow cultists will not appear aligned with the cult while you are alive.

During the night, you may attempt to convert a player. This will fail if the cult has 4 members already, if you successfully converted someone the night before, or if the player is not a member of the town. Upon success, they will be converted into a Cultist.
Alternatively, once per game at night you may attempt to bribe a player. This will fail if the cult has 4 members already or if you successfully converted someone the night before. Upon success, they will be converted into a Cultist.

If a player with the ability to determine if a player is a cultist targets a player you failed to convert or a player you bribed, they will receive "[TargetName] is not a cultist, but they said that [YourName] attempted to convert them. [YourName] is the Cult Leader!"

If your alignment is not Cult, you cannot ever be converted into the Cult, and will receive the following if the Cult Leader tries converting you: "[CultLeader] attempted to convert you into the cult. [CultLeader] is the Cult Leader!"

Pirate 1-Shot Swashbuckler
(Pirate / 1-Shot Gladiator)
1 time per game, at Day, you may publicly post
Challenge: <player>
. All votes are reset, and players may only vote for you or the player you Challenged for the remainder of the day. If this role is picked with a
Pirate
faction, call it "Swashbuckler" instead of "Gladiator".

Pirates
have a factional ability: plundering a player. That player will be permanently Vanillaised. The plunderer will learn their target's role. This ability will fail on any Vanilla. All members of the faction can also access a PT for the faction.

For the
Pirate
wincon, see post 51.

A third-party role that needs to target a player from each alignment to win, for example. How do you reverse that without changing the role itself?

Also would a jester become a survivor or an unjester?

Mafia 1-Shot Smoke Bomb
(Mafia / 1-Shot Smoke Bomb)
Once per game, at Day, you may post
*throws smoke bomb*
(bolded and with asterisks). This will silence (can't post, including votes), Day-commute (can't be targeted by Day actions), and hammerproof (votes just don't count) you for the rest of the Day. This action will be confirmed by the mod (to prevent fake smoke bombs).

Inspired by this.

Possessed Townie
(Apparition / Godfather)

The apparition faction doesn't kill. Instead, they "possess" people. What this means is that a apparition can take the role of the person they possessed. In the morning it will say that no body was found, and there will be no flip. The apparition doesn't take the alignment of the person, only the role. Each apparition can only possess one person.

You start the game with the Godfather role. This is lost when you possess a person.
