This? What sticks out to you as Thing-like?
Yeah, that. It's a vibe. The TBH seems self-conscious, the post itself is short and seems to be made for the sake of making it and fitting in, and the vote on a person that hasn't posted yet vibes like he doesn't want to start ruffling feathers yet.
1. I use TBHs a lot in my writing style.
2. I found myself to really relate to that post.
3. I voted that person because they were the first in the VC and I always do my RVS votes on arbitrary factors like that.
I also don't like this, seems overly defensive/survavilistic for page 2

I'm thinking Cooper or Clark are good votes but I want to SEE where this is going

VOTE: Clark
Well the push seemed genuine if on flimsy reasoning, why would I not defend myself?

By the way is also why anon is so cool, you don't have people jumping in quoting 10 games with +700 pages that they spect you to read to justify their "Town play"

It is so refreshing

A line from one of my favorite books on my bookshelf. I know those things cannot read - they know only how to destroy.

My keycode tomorrow will be: hsialsrbbeftcaglutrcbostfotsatdadayasacsfttgrtrtmfttsptbiwtlaitwdalutfctootfhtwb

if I cannot explain what it stands for, you will know I am no longer with you and you should incinerate me immediately with no mercy for I am now one of them.

Codes are explicitly forbidden in the rules, don't go attempting to use them. This will be the only time I warn people, further instances will get you booted from the game.

More so then anything else that has happened in this game, but not really ready to move any wagon to E-1.

I thought the wordiness of that post made it Human-like, or at least NAI. The joking gave it a Human-like tone, but less so than Lars.

pretty sure its just the explaining of things everybody already knows in so many words that makea me feel as if windows is trying to appear more helpful than they actually are.

disagree, i very much like Clark as of right now. The questions theyre asking seem very newbish by nature, more like they care about seeing thought processes more than anything.
I don't expect them to really go anywhere with it, if they do ill be surprised.
Maybe im just a softie but i tr the newbie playstyle.

May I interest you in a windows vote instead?

I think his reaction after being wagoned was poor. It felt like the sort of reply you make promising stuff later while you’re secretly hoping the wagon disperses. And in the context of it being early game I believe that that’s a slightly better play than it is down the line.

As such, I don’t really want to move my vote until Clark provides... anything that I townread. Rather than promises.

And as it is Windows’ one post made no impression either way on me.

This feels like shading for something that's a lose-lose for Copper. However, I agree with the sentiment in the sense that Copper (and Clark for that matter) both have an over-explainy, formal kind of tone that I'd put as +Scum.

Because of the shading, Copper/Child probably not scum together.

Lars prob-town.

Oh you meant the opposite?

@Norris

It reads like someone simulating town behavior with the "not really ready to move any wagon to E-1" thing. Commenting for the sake of commenting.
