I struggle with following that. Criticizing involves attacking the arguments, much like Cerb and I do to each other. Shading is more ad hominem if you follow. It criticizes the person more than the argument. For instance, he's scum and not worth listening to. So when you call Sakura an entilted millenial, it has zero to do with her position but attacks her credibility as an individusl.

I'm failing to understand how you struggle with the notion of criticizing someone being different from casting shade on their alignment. my reasoning for doing so with sakura is that 1) it bothered me and 2) I want helpfulness instead of people being obtuse on purpose for reasons.

my last games here before I took a break, I was town with smocaine a lot and his play was 100% bad reads with obtuse reasoning and over the top confidence that I couldn't interact with in any way. If he was trying to win instead of appearing wise and always right, I'd maybe have an easier time playing town. other players do similar ego things that are unhelpful. I've grown to dislike it, so I'm preemptively aggressive with it. people can look cool in other games, I'd rather have them communicating clearly in games I'm in. especially when I care, which is the case.

I'm saying I should have pushed your response. both for the "RVS and fence-sitting" comment, for the reasons sando expose, and also because your reasoning for calling my stance fence-sitting doesn't match what I did. you said I was "doing a lot of conflict resolution", when I was townreading everyone that wagoned a certain player I did not have a townread on, and you should never have that read in the first place.

Brass is definitely different here than he was in Necro - a lot more content. I like his thought processes.

Yeah, I’m thinking what Katsuki is claiming does seem farfetched but it seems like a strange thing to make up. Perhaps, he can squeeze some game-related content into his posts, so we can be better able to sort him?

Although Katsuki isn’t beyond making fake claims as either alignment. I’ve probably only been in a handful of games where I can confidently determine a scum motivtion - straight off the bat.

So my current TRs are FA, duckling and Sakura (who doesn't pick a mechanical fight with me as scum imo). I normally build a "Town list", a "not to be lynched today list", a "yeah ok you can lynch them list" and a "scum list". That said, are we coordinating the next leader openly? Cause while I think we should obviously go for as townie as possible in our leader list, there's some townies that I don't feel completely comfortable picking as leader (although still better choices than anyone not in townie list).
