i feel this. but i don't think scum Flavor is one you catch so early, so i'm not worried about it. maybe that's defeatist?
there's other things to do, it doesn't need to be all about Flavor (though i'll admit i've been engaging in a lot of rather fluffy chitchat because he's here while i am. :>)

i'd tunnel you hard if you kept this read throughout the game, are my thoughts. i think my no-mislynch pattern can beat you.
i was worried, but since you've already claimed 3p, i don't need to worry about you being town anymore. now it's down to you actually being scum, vs. you being a 3p that may or may not help us. the eventuality of 1v1ing town Flavor is off the table. i don't think i'm that good at reading you, and the experience that sticks in my head is that scumgame where i figured out you were scum just in time to be nightkilled and for us to lose. the one with the inno mislynch.

but i am still pretty wary of scum you so i'll see where your content goes!

im kinda just assuming that eventually he's going to get lynched at some point since he basically invited us to do so so i'm not going to overthink it rn because he's put himself in a position where it has to get resolved before endgame (there's no jesters and i can't really think of another role where lynching someone would be problematic/end the game)

this was my exact impression of tris from Anuket, and i'm not seeing a real difference. she was also pushed there for that, and i remember scumreading her for it.
are there any differences between the two?

of the scumgame and anuket i remember the scumgame better (i guess cuz it was more recent) so that's what i'm comparing against. i don't remember how the the towngame compares to the scumgame but i'll take a look at her iso in anuket again when i have a chance

today i townishly slept through all my alarms, townishly rushed to work, put in a good full towny day, townily went to the gym afterward and then returned home where I am now. reading the thread and striving to do so with the same townish zeal I put into everything else I did today

I'm at the end of page 9. Currently the people who I've found no reasons to townread are {ceejayvinoya, Chara, insomnia, Irrelephant, Smile, tris}. Of those, I think that Irrelephant and tris are the most likely to actually be scum. I've found reasons, even if very minor, to townread everyone else. Some more than others, of course – my reason to townread skitter is fairly small, for example.

From what I've read these don't seem to align with popular consensus, so if anyone would like clarification somewhere feel free to ask. It's getting fairly late for me so I'm not sure how much more reading I'll get done right now.

Well, the general rule would be if you don’t have a consensus you should probably get into detail with your scum reads. I’m interested in the irrelephant read.

Well, you should get into detail with every single one of them, but the point was that if a person’s accusing someone that’s not a consensus and without explaining the scum read in any way, it’s likely people will just ignore you or you even light end up suspicious for pushing that person if you don’t have a case.

I'm fine with treating Flavor's claim as true for the day. If he hadn't claimed I think I'd have townread him around now actually (tbh I started writing this post as "I think Flavor might be town?" because I had forgotten/mentally ignored his claim but w/e it doesn't super change things to just think of him as pro-town 3P), because I actually think "I'm here! Who's uncomfortable - they're scummy" is a kinda reasonable entrance to the game for him specifically, even though I don't think it actually applies well here since I've only ever played TvT with FL and am made uncomfortable by that memory specifically/I townread Chara and am kinda mindmelding with its feelings regarding the replace in.

Actually if there's a reason to scumread Flavor it's that I don't see anyone I think is scum being made uncomfortable by his entrance/claim, except potentially tris? who I don't have super strong reasons to townread
Which like sorta implies his teammates are just glad he's here to save the slot

But I'm probably overthinking things since there's so many barely active slots this might not be a useful marker for anything rn
