If you think using gifs to express yourself is bad for scum, why did my excessive gif usage seem scummy to you then? by that logic shouldn't people who were less expressive/present be more scummy?

Stupid? Yea but I've never played an animal sounds game before and I was excited for my first game of animal sounds. I didn't even think setting up a code was even allowed or in the spirit of the game.

it seemed to me like scum!pooky saw someone working towards solving the game and attempted to befriend them without participating in the solving of the game.

i have also never played an animal sounds game before and i was excited for a game where the players had to find a way to communicate. i was disappointed that a lot of players did not seem to share my excitement. those who weren't really playing felt different from you however, as you were making your presence known but it never felt like you were working towards finding mafia.

I felt like I could communicate using sounds that were intuitive. "Rumble" really easily seemed like a positive sound, right? etc.

my first thought was ooh cool tiger gifs because I had done a game posting only gifs before and I kind of like tigers.

i think that ones like that could go either way; i wasn't as worried about the connotations of the word so much as making sure that people would associate it with a certain image/general feeling via photo.
