The final apparition, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come is visually the most terrifying. But after everything else he's dreamed this night, Scrooge is almost calm about the faceless reaper-like spirit. But, not so calm about the future that is revealed to him. He sees his own death and funeral, where no one cares and many show up only for the post-funeral meal. As horrible as that makes him feel, it's not the worst of the dream. He sees Bob Cratchett's family mourning the death of their young child, Tiny Tim. That death shatters the last of the ice gripping Scrooge's heart. He awakens, filled with Christmas spirit, and sets about making his small part of the world a better place.

Don't feel like you should die, don't feel like Norfolk should die, but feel like tying it so far so maybe bb can decide it and we can be like that or something. so i realized i have to either drastically rethink my own reads or not hammering quiet was a mistake given i had two townreads and a potential pr voting there, that's on me because i let my own sketchiness about lunar shake my thinking. firs order of business is to reread safebet because i mentally townbinned him early after his readlist and haven't really evaluated since then

still very baffled by how lunar treated bbmolla's claim but probably not going to consider him today
