It is still very unclear to me why Pooky thought allowing you to replace-in without even checking was a good idea.

That is not faulting you, but an instant replaceout by catboi was 100% expected and Pooky was always going to have to find a different replacement regardless.

Ahh I finally have time to respond now!

Even though we lost, I'm happy with the result (I hope this doesn't sound too bad..?) Usually i flop super hard as scum and have such a hard time, so after I shook off my initial nervousness I felt like I did better than I was expecting to : DDD improvement..? maybe..? watch as I flop super hard when I get scum next LOL

yeah it sucks,
morale was so low at multiple points but the huge wave of replacements really helped maf alot i feel like, it felt a bit like it was unfair HEUIRF when the replacements came suddenly we all became so much happier to try <3

Since you separately seemed to be curious about his other alts in the DC nom, catboi and I generally know of each other's alts because of our friendship out of game. bloodhail was not publicly revealed until I outed it in the nomination, while Retti was publicly revealed earlier today in the postgame of Mini Normal 2252

Generally speaking, I don’t keep track of other people’s blacklists, especially across alts, and rely on players telling me they won’t play well together explicitly in the pregame or having the maturity to respect the desire to not play with them if it’s been expressed.

In this case it was probably that HQ reached out to join the replace queue through me and pooky assuming I did the legwork as well as the not knowing about alt status, and it lead to an unfortunate circumstance.

It’s advisable imo to let the mod know about any blacklist you have pregame to prevent such situations in the future, as most mods don’t go digging for people’s blacklists while replacing ime.

I reached out during signups first. It really wasn’t my choice to be a replace in.

If Pooky were enforcing blacklists and knew about the conflict that wouldn't have mattered. You being on the replacement list doesn't stop his ruleset from applying, regardless of how long you've been on the replacement list.

I would like to apologize to anyone I offended during or post game. I felt extremely disheartened, frustrated and helpless that I couldn’t really get any other towns but Titus, Norwee and maybe RH9 to listen.

That said, I need to figure out a way to communicate and express myself a lot better. so I apologize Dats for the way I expressed my frustration towards you. You eventually did read me correctly in Anything uPick and another game on a different account but uPick hadn’t ended yet when you asked me for references, so I obviously wasn’t at liberty to link that.

but that 1v1 really needed to end and I strongly judged that if there was scum in your pairing, that was the only possible time we would ever have to remove it

I also thought it would be a lot more doable to kill the dats/gl pairing at 8p but that turned out to be impossible
