Also, if the names were related to the role, Harry wouldn't have been a VT.
It actually makes less sense for Hermione to be a VT if Harry was a VT too.
Of course, I'm sure scum got fakeclaims so as to avoid claiming a character someone else has.

Also since there was a vanilla cop, it stands to reason that SOMEONE is not vanilla, thereby decreasing probability that both Harry and Hermione are.

But I'm still quietly debating whether bro is scum. I don't feel confident about this flip, but I'm also not confident or even reasonably comfortable with him being town, which is assuredly not a reason to keep him alive.

I'm fairly confident about his flip, actually.

I'm Hermione Granger, Vanilla Townie.
The flavor claim is basically null to me given that past Nexus games have included pretty solid fakeclaims. What concerns me more is the attitude in this post that's mostly, 'no need to respond to suspicions, I'll just throw out a claim and see if they buy it.' Sure, I get worrying that one might be quickhammered before saying anything, but we're not running into deadline issues, so why not take the time to make a complete post? And what coherent case are you referencing? Not unvoting, thank you.

Where in there do I imply that I feel I don't have the need to respond to suspicions? I have fairly clearly stated that I want to do a reread before posting anything solid, and that I won't have time to do that until this weekend because I have just started a summer internship and am now working full time while working on a side project that further consumes a lot of time.

I will be focusing on penguin, ghost, and DV in particular.

Why DV?

I want to see if he crumbed anything. Nobody has posted anything about that.

Yes, they have.

If it was eaten in the crash I haven't seen it.

Here are the posts DV made Day Two after he could have gotten any info (that mention people):
In post 647, DeasVail wrote:I know I keep apologising, but again, I'm really sorry.

Also, this is not going to be a big post, there's not much that's new to say, but if I was scum I probably would have tried to make it into a big post anyway, so yay self-analysis/meta/whatever you want to call it.

People I don't want to lynch today:

Fuzzy
Rach
CDB
Mhork
Saint
Ghostlin

Lean town, but could still be scum (this one's in order):

Amrun
Bro
Penguin

Leftover and also scummy:

TMT

I agree with what's been said about him and also found him scummy before. Jake is no longer here to distract me (btw sorry Jake :( ) and Mhork is a mason claim so yeah.

This is just from an initial catch up and I've only glanced through some ISOs. I might try and look at ISOs more closely at some point since it's been a while since I've paid attention to this.
In post 648, DeasVail wrote:Actually maybe put Bro above Amrun, but I'll check that later.
In post 662, DeasVail wrote:CDB seems pretty town to me though.
The closest I get from this is that he might have investigated CDB, but it's not clear to me what result he might have gotten, PR or Vanilla. His info would have been helpful if someone he'd investigated tried to lie about their role or lack thereof in a massclaim situation, but he died too early, so.

In terms of his most recent suspicions, he had me, BRO, and Amrun as next in line after TMT, but with TMT's town flip, I don't know that his Day Two reads were threatening to anyone.

BRO, what are you looking to find in his ISO?

DV's flip is part of why I feel so confident about the masons. He wouldn't turn down the opportunity to clear/catch two people in one night, surely...

Any sort of crumbing of a result (calling someone "boring" or something similar would be an indicator of this).

Although investigating the masons would make sense from how I would assume the role would work (ie, mafia goons still return vanilla). Still worth checking out myself when I comb the thread anyways.

What exactly is the point in this?

To scumhunt.

That's kind of the point of the game.

Looking for crumbs isn't scum hunting, sorry to say.

Pretty sure with this being a theme game that there are some good fake claims given to the scumz. In my experience that happens.

Apologies. I wasn't aware the site was back up.

Alright, what's the BROsideon case? I need to ISO him, but I'd like the summary of how things stand at the moment.

Personally, I think CDB investigated him and got a scum, by how he was softly hinting that he thought Bro was scum.
so, he's scum.

Why the fuck would you ever say that under any circumstance?

I think it's best if I neither confirm nor deny that interpretation.

Unless that was a slip of the
tongue
typing finger and you meant DV, in which case I think that's a stretch, especially when it makes so much more sense for him to have investigated the masons.

Ghostlin - why wouldn't you just read the thread to catch up rather than starting with an iso and a summary?
