Let's break the cycle and escape fate Mr. Emperor CrimsonIn post 767, jjh927 wrote:Why are we in a cycle of putting people to L-1 then backing off when they fakeclaim
Reverse psychology. In post 771, Conspire wrote:@Cosmic Penguins: I kinda get townvibes from Bla. The way he was taking things very seriously/at face value and informed everyone that we shouldn't state type of animal while everyone was RVSing around him was maybe townie.
That said, why self-vote here, Bla? What's to be gained? In post 702, Blatant Scum wrote:Alrighty, then. Can't break anything with pressuring people.

Actually, I should be able to win 2 scum, 3 town in 75% of cases as town.In post 774, Conspire wrote:Blatant Scum is one of theOld Greats. He would single-handedly carry town in heavily scumsided setups back in the day. Those days, scum were garbage, so most games started in LyLo with 4 scum, 5 town setups being the norm.
Without Bla on your team, winrates were fair at 50/50. With him as town, it was 90/10 in town's favour.

Or to make you think that I am scum. You will never know.
Is this reverse reverse psychology or just psychology?
I don't know his playstyle. I don't know the majority of the players here.In post 752, Birds and the Boys wrote:Nice, I am on the exclusive list.In post 709, farside22 wrote:Ill just play in my own little world.

Wait why is dunny scum for not being that active? Dunny lurks all the time.

Well, I had a theory you were starting a wagon on yourself to get reads/reactions, but if you claim you're just doing it because you want to create WIFOM as town, I might have to
I was kind of feeling the same thing, but there’s been a few things, such as the self vote, that I can see him doing as scum specifically to look townie, which will split the general consensus *salutes General Consensus* when regarding his slot.In post 771, Conspire wrote:@Cosmic Penguins: I kinda get townvibes from Bla. My comparison between them for you specifically (and by extension me asking Votato a similar question) has more to it than simply the contents of the question. I'll explain more once votato answers.@ holden: i think your comparing clover to calvin is 2 separate things. Clover said he was joking about mass claiming when he was called out for the discrepancy when he switch to mass claiming is bad.
I dont believe it was a joke and i dont understand why your defending him and not letting him defend his own actions.
Simply put why was he joking about mass claiming when no one was talking about it and then why did je take it seriously after?
In post 380, Clover Ebi wrote:I'm a bit baffled that people have townreads when I'm pretty sure a lot of this was just pure good-hearted nonsense. But hey, maybe I'm more strict in how I give out my townreads
Well he did clear it up, which apparently i missed in all this.In post 419, Clover Ebi wrote:The first post was a joke during the time I feel like a lot of the playerlist was messing around. In my experience wolves are more likely to miss things like this than town. Unless my joke wasn't obvious than someone do let me know. VOTE: VotatoIn one post you suggest massclaim, in other you are reluctant to even a partial claim. In post 385, Clover Ebi wrote:And what's the reasoning behind claiming that information?
Hmm... not sure. My instinct is to say that mass-claiming is scum-driven. That said, suggesting it is probably NAI, since a) i've seen someone suggest it in pretty much every game ive been in so far and b) i guess proposing it to gauge reactions is useful from a pro-town perspective. It might be scum driven since calvin actually seems intent on having people claim, rather than just proposing it for reactions. why don't we ask calvin for their motivations? In post 769, HoldenGolden wrote:Then I'll ask you the question I asked Farside, what do you make of Calvin's focus on mass claiming? Is it innocent fun, scum driven, or etc.?In post 745, votato wrote:exactly. the reason a massclaim is bad is that town really gains quite little. does blatant always sound this way? I don't really know what to make of his posts, but i dont see any way they help town.

uh not exactly sure. From what I gather on the wiki, the janitor would be a scum role. From that plus my role PM I guess my role has something to do with being anti-janitor? I'm not exactly sure how it would work. sorry. i think the watcher ability only activates if im successful, if that helps. In post 773, Conspire wrote:What does thisIn post 690, votato wrote:fine. Justification here isDodgy. Are you voting him because you think he's useless or because he's scum?

I don't really like any of this. Pretty sure your Role PM would not leave you "guessing" so much.In post 788, votato wrote:uh not exactly sure. i think being useless is probably correlated with being scum. You all seem to know BS much better than I, and if hes a really good player, then theres probably a method somewhere in the apparent madness. I guess this sort of confusion is why I want to wait before jumping to any conclusions about anyone. ironically, this uncertainty makes me a bit useless, so i guess im confirmed scum.
