I think I understand your point now. Like the use of again with a hyphen with it for creating the impression of thoroughness instead of transparently sharing all they have to share and letting the volume speak for its voluminousness.
I agree that's something that's scummy on balance but "lukewarm takes are usually scummy" is what's actually speaking to me.

Scum defending town tend to say “I have a townread on x person” and explain their logic sufficiently so that it looks like a real read. TGP is trying to go further than that. They really want people to believe gypyx is town, which is town-indicative or possibly scumbuddy indicative. I agree that it’s less of a “here are my thoughts” type post but I actually think that’s towny here for that reason.
I'm not sure I understand/agree, I think in the earlier phase of the game townies don't really go the extra mile on towncasing because they can just do it later. Lengthy towncases can lamist better than short towncases though, so scum would have incentive to do that in any phase of the game. I have a fun wallpost towncase I made as scum I share sometimes but I feel too lazy to go grab it but just imagine it.

Hmm, I guess scum towncasing townies is just not something I see a ton. A decent amount of this read is gut too, I get a vibe of “I want you to believe gypyx is town” from TGP

i can see why Pooky thinks Infinity is sorta struggling to justify things. It came off like he was distrusting the thread as a whole's townbloc, but when pressed on it, he explained that he was talking about himself and projecting his concern on the thread as a whole.
I still find other things about Infinity towny. and I don't really think there's scum motivation for casting doubt on the townbloc but not even have any reasoning for it beyond paranoia

Basically, i found that scum tends to try to say stuff that they know is true when they can, so if scum did in fact made choices pregame, i lean strongly towards scum!jessie
using mechanical speculation and locking himself to some extent into a scumread on jessie if his mechanical speculation is correct. gypyx is never scum with jessie here.
i guess I just have a polar opposite take to this, maybe. i feel like scum is less likely to point out stuff that is true, because it has the potential to read awkwardly. It's much easier to speculate as town and get it right than it is for scum to have genuine-looking speculation that lands in the right spot, imo
