This is very important to understand, because mindmelding can actually cause a sort of domino effect in a game, where a mindmeld potentially spreads enough that everyone in the game believes that these two players that have just mindmelded and now trust each other are actually town. Having that sort of situation happen greatly increases the chances of town winning from that point forward.

There's like four possible scenarios for koba/t3.


Koba!scum - T3!Town -> Skitter should not accept Koba
Koba!scum - T3!Scum -> Skitter should not accept either of them.
Koba!Town - T3!Town -> Skitter can just accept T3.
Koba!town - T3!Scum -> T3 would've accepted Koba


In no world should Skitter accept you.

if I'm scum and T3 is town I just accept him

if T3 and I are both scum then skitter accepting A50 ends the game.

if T3 and I are both town and A50 is scum, the game is over since I accept T3.

if T3 is scum and I'm town, then T3 can only be scum with Ich since Ich proposed T3. Which means A50 is town and we win when A50 accepts Skitter.

reducing the pool of town candidates in the final 4 would be 1, refuse to accept 1, then accept another, the former person gets sussed for being unaccepted by a flipped scum
