Chamber, you mentioned awhile ago that you weren't sure whether all your megamasons were still town. Was this just because 2 nights where they could be recruited have passed (i.e. they vacuously could be scum), or because you have reason to believe that specific individuals are scum?

Sorry, I've been ludicrously busy recently. Working 9am-9pm tue-thu and the weekend at the time I do have avaliable is being taken by kiwiesta planning.
chamber wrote:I disagree with any plan where Boxman isn't shot.
This is where I currently stand.

I think it's unlikely that he is completely unlynchable, though it is possible, but I just think it's warped thinking to assume that he won't die when daykilled and will die this time when lynched. And an unlynchable scum is unbalanced in a game like this, but nevertheless, so far we've had two chances to kill him with daykills despite evidence of his scumminess. An unlynchable scum is completely imbalanced in a normal game, in this specific game we are playing now, evidence suggests he isn't. But that isn't really the point, the point is that we know he is unlynchable to an extent, and how likely do you really think a scum that is both undaykillable and unlynchable is?

I'll claim if you want. It's not enough to stop you considering daykilling me though, it's abysmal.

How'd you end up with a lackluster role? Did you request something other than 3/3 at start-up? :?

I requested a 2 if memory serves me. I likely would have went with 1.5 if I thought that was an option. I don't know why anyone would pick a 3.

I picked 3. I'm surprised everyone didn't pick 3.

If Megamason + MOAR is a 2, I feel a little shafted.

I did pick a 3, anyone who does otherwise is a big girl. It's not a bad role (In a game where most the game aren't confirmable daykillers, unkillabiles and confiremed masons, though, that's an extremely subjective term. ) It's just that my role sounds really like a scum claim more than an actual lack of power (not that I'm particularly powerful either).

Torn between Primate and a mason. <_<

Primate has much higher prior probability (no auto-town at start) and general unhelpfulness D3. However, he also didn't defend scumqueenPome as elaborately as Tajo. :?

Was looking through Primate's iso. My bias is that he is not starter scum, but one bit stands out.

Same goes for you as goes for Iec. If you shoot someone other than boxman before the other shoots boxman, I will make sure you get lynched.

I've seen the 'you can only recruit out of a certain group of people' as a mechanic in games before. If it's game relevant to you, chances are it's game relevant to someone else, and it's not information we should be revealing casually just because it isn't information that isn't relevant to our personal roles. It's very rare town benefits from casual claiming of role information.

That's fine, as long as when you do so you can produce a thought out response to explain your failure. I don't think I've been particularly scummy though, so I am a tad biased.

Want a claim?

I honestly think that anyone who doesn't shoot boxman isn't right in the head. An unkillable, unlynchable scum is so much more unlikely than a scum who is just unlynchable its unreal. Imho, it's just a mess and if you kill someone other than Boxman or me, I will join with chambers vote because I honestly think you're deluded or recruited on this.

I'm not questioning your decision not to reveal your angel-status, though, if you were going to take that route, it probably would have been better to avoid mentioning the subject altogether.

What I'm questioning is -- "Are you an angel?" If you *are* an angel, is your rolename also an angel? If not, why didn't you jump on what would have looked like a fakeclaim yesterday?

I probably was a bit behind the curve in the sense of it wasn't really being discussed anymore, and I should have argued my point at the time for it to work properly, but I do disagree, and believe it's better to actively state your desire to not talk about something than to just not talk about it, otherwise it both looks like you're not paying attention, and also it allows it to actually catch on amongst other people as a viable choice.

I am not an Angel, nor do I have any affiliations with Angels (In the source I have a very slight one, not at all in this game). I am Elijah Snow, from Planatary. I can make people hated and also have a one-shot roleblock.

Targeted Boxman N1 to make him hated, working on the theory that I thought he was suspicious, but not really under lynch pressure, and I was kind of hoping it would be announced by the mod in some way, which it wasn't, though I wasn't too suprised when it didn't happen. Of course naturally, he gets to 5 when he would be lynched at 5 and waits there for two days before the mod turns up a lynches him, at which point he has 7 votes, so I don't really know what to say on that regard.

N2 I roleblocked Boxman for reasons I hope are obvious. N3 I stored my ability.

OK, that's reasonable. If there were angels out there, it would've totally thrown off both my assumption that angels don't exist as a game mechanic and my interpretation of no rabblerousing after my Metatron claim.

But, umm. There hasn't been an N3.... O_o
