Read what I wrote again, I said people jumping on the Malthusis wagon with 'little or no explanation' were scummy. Malth wasn't a town read but at that stage he didn't seem particularly scummy either, and the jumps on him by people such as pidgey and popsofctown seemed very oppurtunistic.
