In post 795, Piratecat wrote:Also if you want to call buddying. Why don't you call out Molla for wanting to call Rob scum for voting Bubba. I can say that looks that Mollia IS buddying Bubba.
Do you think Bubba is town
I've blatantly called him town time and time again and anyone who disagrees is dumb or scum.
Calling someone scum because they DISAGREE with a read IS stupid.
There's a difference between calling someone town after time after time. If you want someone to agree with your Bubba town read, why don't you actually try to flesh it out rather then shoving it down people's throats saying 'Bubba is town'. We don't know why you think he's town, but we just know you think he's town.
The whole point of the game is trying to make people agree with your scum or town reads, but if you are going to be vague about so and so is town. Then don't be surprised if someone doesn't listen to the town read because you haven't shown people why you think they are town.
^ Make sense?

but here's the thing... Rob has been all over Bubba for, like molla said, 30 pages. He's hardly gotten off of him, and when he did he found a reason to come back.
Molla I still want a piratecat lynch or a rob lynch today.

Feel free to have our lynch, but we won't be flipping scum like everyone hopes.

GuyInFreezer did say to me that he would be V/LA. I would remind everyone at this time that the rule about out-of-game influences exists for a reason.
sorry Richard, but noticing a player is posting on site and not in a game is not against site rules. You are completely misinterpreting the rules if you honestly beleive that. Outside influences are

So I'll talk about his fake v/la all I want.
Speculate all you want, by all means, but if you talk about ongoing games (where I felt the conversation was headed), you'll be on permanent V/LA.
Also, be aware of Rule 8.

Well lol@ you cause I was referring to him posting on site on general. Even you as a mod have to recognize when a player is LYING about being v/la, which Gif is doing. It's your job to recognize he's violating the spirit of the game and atleast send him a pm informing him that you know he's lying and to post or risk being force replaced or modkilled.
If you don't take action and let him get away with this lie, you aren't doing your job as a moderator.

Well, I have no jurisdiction on players outside the game, so...
Additionally, at the risk of breaking my own rules, the PM I received from GuyInFreezer CC'd four other mods as well. I have no reason to believe that GuyInFreezer was dishonest with me in any way. Limited Access != No Access. If you would like to discuss this further, take it to PM's.

Thx

Ask and you shall receive.
Edit:
Pretend that GuyInFreezer is voting for JacobSavage and that fuzzybutternut is being voted for by JacobSavage; I forgot to update the player list in my super cool auto-VC toy.

Opps... Anyway I'm going to go with my early gut read and I say:

Do you consider checking if a user has posted elsewhere on site to be out-of-game influences?

In post 792, rmpeacoc wrote:Really tired of this buddying of Pirate and rob... always talking about the same people...
and yes Pirate you were parroting... you were asking the exact same questions that people have already asked Jake. Jake is scum hunting, doing some actual work here.
Also I agree with BBMolla. If Pirate wasn't scum more votes would be on her/him/they/whatthefuckever
VOTE: Piratecat
We're not always talking about the same people. Well, we probably are talking about the same people, because Mafia involves discussion, but we don't have identical reads. See our Jake reads. Mine's been conflicted and kind of all over the place, Pirate thinks Jake is the anti-christ, basically.
Also, that logic is awful. If Pirate looked like town to a majority of players, as they do, they wouldn't have many votes on them.

If he answers yes to that question I'll cause it absolutely isn't.
P.edit - was referring to the question to the mod.
BBmolla - explain your post #796. I feel like I'm missing obvious context there, but I'm not getting what you're saying.
@Rmp - Well, yes. I don't want Pirate lynched - it would be absolutely stupid. They're obvious town. Just like BBmolla has a strong town read (somehow) on Bubba, I have a strong town read on Pirate. They are not scum, and I'm going to fight their lynch as long as it's on the table because it would be incredibly, incredibly stupid.
Oops - I just finished reading and realized the mod already addressed that type of stuff. Ignore my earlier question - I wasn't caught up yet.
Caught up now. Will post some more. Molla is coming off to me as scum again, but not enough for me to risk being wrong again on him yet.

In addition to pirate's parroting, another thing that makes me think she's scum is that I honestly don't think they think I'm scum. Based on comments they made, I definitely get the feeling they think I'm town.
They also claim to be scum hunting, but I don't see any true examples of it.

Also, rmp and friends have been saying I've been tunneling. Yes, I have been. I've been up front with that. You guys say I'm tunneling like it's something scandalous when I've fully admitted to it for pretty much the entire day. I do that as town and scum quite frequently. I know I've said this a lot this game, but check my meta. It isn't a scum tell for me. It's null.
