I did some research because I personally haven't seen many voyeur roles handed out where I usually play mafia, and I got to thinking that it would be a pretty safe thing to claim if you didn't want to be cc'd. Turns out chkflip had the role in a recent game, and it's showed up in a handful of other recent games.
That's one of the reasons I'm not deathtunneling you atm, TIP.

All of these were done towards the beginning of my play where i realized i won't be able to put the time needed into the game...
problem is, work gets crazy for me sometimes..especially when there are a few people out of the office and i have to take on their work load as well....i deal a lot with the gov't and military and a lot of times i have to take off without notice if a someone has an issue that can't be immediately fixed. And with work the way it is, if i'm gone a day, i'm behind a week..
..weekends i am V/LA as i only have my phone and my house is a dead zone. Unfortunately i was out pretty much all of last weeek (due to my Bday shenanigans) which coupled with all of my work stuff really put me at a bad spot with the game...
CHK is cool people, and i'd hate to be a dick and lurk-lurk-lurk constantly trying to catch up....it's not fair to him, or all of the other people playing his game.
This week is hectic as well…
Gov’t funding needs to allocated before month end and I have to make sure everything is double-checked on a few new projects…
You just made a wall of excuses for lurking.

The strongest sell for me is the way that he's been interacting with this hydra; I think the doubt about my specific head is very real, and all these questions to my meta and things like that is just going to make it harder for him to jump back on my wagon; it seems like something that's completely useless and serves absolutely no purpose if he's scum, and that makes it read very, very genuine.
He's making far too many excuses for low activity and is not actually doing anything; hasn't been doing anything this entire game. The fact that he isn't used to being scum really stands out to me as well; usually finding things to pick up on and attack comes with experience, and his comfortable posting around talking about his own meta is a harsh contrast to him talking about his actual reads; for example, he's still riding on that DrP case and hasn't really brought up anything about me at all. His bungle vote also felt like a panic vote, and his switch back to our wagon was contrived as all hell.

I've been looking around to double check this too. But generally I find that being scum on this site is draining as shit for players who aren't used to a slower tempo, so I'm just keeping watch on him. I'm really happy with the townread on him now, though.

Reading the thread and actually showing evidence of it. Sword catches up like I do; he reads through the thread, picks out things that he finds interesting, asks questions, all that good stuff.
