I already knew you were the last scum, so I might be biased, but I thought using your power on shadoweh should have been treated as a scum-claim.

Town-spyrex would have used it as an investigation and targeted displaced, especially since he might be worried about getting NKed himself, only scum-spyrex would use it on shadoweh, which is clearly a move to persuade rather than investigate. Using it on shadoweh makes especially little sense as town, since if she were actually scum, her power would probably be ascetic, not commute.

Assuming my ability did what I said, and not what it actually did -what I did is probably what I would have done as town too - because hitting scum with it means its an NK 4 way lylo with OMG SpyreX faked an NK which ~meta~ kats would have been all over. If I hit town with it and there's a kill the only way I'm scum (again, if it works) is if I can double action. Thats MUCH easier to push the town to the right answer.

As for the whole day before and displaced business:

1.) The only reason (and town me wouldn't have known) that your ability has the caveat it does is because scum could steal town powers. Not leading with that right out of the gate was a bad move and something that town me wouldn't have wanted to let go of but:

2.) The arguing my ability couldn't exist in the game and not backing off it when it clearly could (especially with the above) reeked of a botched scum claim.

Playwise you were fine and that wasn't inherently damning, but putting up the walls on mechanics is the kind of thing I wouldn't have let go of.
