Btw RC

I'm just going to point out again

I saw Nancy play this exact same way as scum before, so that absolutely is not a reason to townread her, at best it is null.

In post 798, RadiantCowbells wrote:The absolute simplest answer

is that I think that my read on her tone and ate trumps that

The less simple answer is that all of these things fundamentally boil down to a player being strange and finding her understandable in a previous game if her thought process is weird to you doesn't mean you'd understand her this one

Man I don't really wanna argue this right now
I think her tone her in all cases except the emotional outburst was not townie. It was NAI at best....

Like Ank made good points of how the tone of approach to us when we called her scum was different than when she gets called out on being scummy as town. Like and then she immediately tried to adjust course by doing what Ank said she would normally do by going the route of "well why you have wrong reads on me".

Where exactly was she scumhunting in most of that interactions? Do you think she wouldn't in that situation?

There is literally nothing I can say that will convince you that she's town so I'm going to do other stuff with my limited thread time rn

Generally these games do not, in fact, last 26 days. On average we should be looking at something like ~20 days I think? some phases will usually go much faster than others.

In Halloweens' Ball I think think the lynch priority order was all decided in pre-dance, which was 8 days. So I think that town can in fact sort that many players in 8 days (they may even be better at it than in a slower game). Town did play out dance 1, but again, there was no coins mechanic there. So basically I'm just saying that the time town took in dance 1 there would be more safely allocated in dance 2. 8 days-1 day-8 days, rather than 8 days-8 days-1 day

As it is, I don't think town is just going to skip pre-dance, and it sounds like town is kinda playing around with actually playing at least some big chunk of Dance 1. So we should have like about the average 20 days to sort even if we skip dance 1--8 days pre-dance, skip dance 1, 2 day intermission, 8 days for second dance.

And we would still play out Dance 1 if the gentlemen we exclude at end of pre-dance is scum.

So I do think skipping dance 1 is still a reasonable offer, but I think we can also play dance 1 out if we feel pretty good about the top 4 town gentlemen and the coin pairings.

Gonna grab some dinner now, -- if you want me to stop talking mech, please stop asking me mech questions lol

this is exactly why Vedith is town lol

nope I didn't, saying you don't play like yourself. I read multiple games of yours during last game man.
I had to like cut myself while doing it because the pain of the knife was more pleasant than that, but i did that.

RC this is what i am open to with regards to my Nancy read:

I am open to saying that tone is NAI.
I am open to saying that things I think she is scum for aren't based on some evidence that what I am saying isn't scummy for her, lack of scumhunting, and lack of awareness. But you have to show me why those things mean nothing.
And I haven't seen anything that doesn't tell me that those mean something and that she isn't scum for those things.

So now we are at a impasse.

For all the hype you gave my towngame ankamius I find it very strange that in calling someone who I have tons of meta experience with town your assumption is that I'm wolf rather than right

The situation is fine now. Nancy is leaving. We get someone new in and we can both analyze them. How about that?

tbh my initial thought when you came in here and defended Nancy the way you did was you came in here trying to defend an ally blatantly and you knew you could get away with it because its u.

But like I think I am overthinking and just digging my heels in too deep and making shit up that shouldn't be. So w/e
