do you not think by Day 6, Math-scum is smart enough to have come up with such a theory? also you're relying not only on Math's theory being correct and his claim being true - they are 2 different questions and may have 2 different answers. it's perfectly possible Math is right about the setup whilst also being plain old scum.In post 7553, Almost50 wrote:Not if MATH's THEORY is TRUE. lol relax man - i've censored you above to try and stop you getting banned and defuse the tension. I always just talk to you about the game, and you seem to get personal because you can't handle someone having a different viewpoint. I don't know why you find it so difficult to just show a bit of courtesy and decency, because it's ok if someone disagrees with you or has a different opinion. It's forum mafia for goodness sake - that's basically the name of the game! None of us are always right, so a bit of humility can go a long way! And if you're honest, you've been wrong a lot more often than I have in this game. As I recall you spent all of the previous day phase trying to delay and distract from a scum-elim, and the day before that you were singularly responsible for a town-elim. That's fine though - it doesn't make you stupid - we all make mistakes. On your proposed solve, I think it's pretty unlikely given the likelihood that scum chose the cop reveals. Additionally, the consensus of all players is that it's unlikely, so perhaps you should direct your outrage at everybody, rather than just little old me? Although my advice would be to tone down the anger, rather than simply calling everybody stupid and brainless. In post 7619, Almost50 wrote:Dude, seriously STOP talking to me cuz you're so awesome you're going to get me banned because I can't control my inexplicable rage.In post 7556, Morning Mage wrote:why wouldnt Bell trust you alignment wise? and why would you even want Bell to trust you? you realise that IF your theory is right, Bell is scum?In post 7552, Almost50 wrote:@Bell: You do trust me, no? please tell me why the solve isn't as simple as chemist+shelly here? Why would they put two of them in the pool each time? because it's possible that some players may forget to consider every available possibility. thanks for your question.
lol if you can imagine 20 pages of just this...that's hood-life. Not much fun tbh, and hard to understand at times, but it is just a game and you never know what ppl are dealing with in real life, so always try not to take things to heart! <3In post 7621, TheGoldenParadox wrote:relax please

eh, i can see the above is in reference to me, so I'll respond. You're incorrect about my view on Titus/Nero - as should be pretty clear from the discussion so far today (and in the previous dayphase). However, it would be fair to say that I don't consider your view on somebody to be equivalent to a mech-conf, so no I wouldn't be convinced someone is 100% town just because you have a gut feeling they are. "at least one" doesn't necessarily equate to 1, but it might. The consensus view in this game is that it probably does - as noted, that isn't some madcap MM-theory, it's something which most people think is a reasonable possibility. You will see this if you look at people's solves today (and presumably the story is same in your hood). I have definitely considered other possibilities and changed my opinion throughout the game - me doing so was key to us flipping scum yesterday - although my initial reads have generally been fairly good. I can see you've taken it personally that I don't agree with you on some things - it isn't a sign of disrespect towards you, and it's honestly fine for people to have different styles and approaches. As I've said to you before, I think the line is drawn where things get personal, and there's really no need to insult or disrespect me because you don't agree with me - it's a game, so have fun, but try and be nice too. If it's helpful we can have a proper chat after the game too, as otherwise this discussion may derail things. In post 7627, Almost50 wrote:@sb: Mate, it's NEVER about having a different view. This is about someone who thinks "linear" and totally refuses to consider any other possibilities regardless of the situation. *shrug* i'm trying to make an extra effort to extend an olive branch to you, as I really don't see the reason for you being so angry at me in particular. I mean, even if you really think my opinions are bad, does that really warrant getting so mad? I do give Math some points. He's stuck to his guns about his theory before it was his neck on the deciding block.
What it really boils down to is it Bell or Math as the last partner? Neither has pushed scum. Neither has really scumhunted. Math I see evidence of trying to work with us, albeit reluctantly (after the note). The only thing Bell has done of note is try to wagon SS day one.
