Joys of the game. I should have tried to take them out sooner, but figured that by leaving them there I was making it harder for ORAM to pick out ROBOT and PILOT - and it backfired.

My only concern is if I’m afk for about a week, what happens then? Can the game be put on hold if I can’t find a temporary replacement?

I'll give folks some leeway over Thanksgiving weekend (thurs-sun). If that's your concern, I think you'll be fine.
But if you need to be away from 1+ week outside of that, it might be better to wait for the next game
