It would. The role 'Saulus' starts out as a mafia-ally. However, if a 'Saulus' role is lynched then it will revive and become an ally to the town.

I don't care what you got, I care about whether it worked as intended. If he's Malfunctioning, you would still get an ability, but it wouldn't do what it says on the tin.

Also, I think voided should claim the info(at least part of it) of that ability; since it's not related to his own role PM, it will not help scum, and it will just give us info.

what information are you trying to gather from here? there's no way the mafiaally would know who the scums are; he'd then just signal them and the scumteam will be large enough to murder any town..

Quick question that occurred to me while dozing off: shos, you claim to be an inventor. I know you are busy, but how come you only appear to have read the end of D2 for the first time after D3 has started? There are many reactions in that post that indicate it being a first read-through, but that does not make any sense with your claim, as if you are an inventor, it would be beneficial to read up during Night to see who to target N2. Can you explain why you didn't do so?

nope, I really can't. there were around 2 pages that I haven't read when I sent my action tonight. I was very sure of PimHel town for some reason (lol @ murphy) and didn't think it'll matter much. even after reading tho, I think that if I had read those two pages before sending my action, I would have chosen the same.

I just wanted to know whether or not Pim knew the mafia or not. If he did, it would likely make Syr town, if he didn't, then it means nothing that he was vote blocked. Although if he did and Syr is a vital PR like I think and this would be a really good WIFOM gambit to do and it was only made better by the fact that Pim died last night..

Leaving aside gambits and PRs for the moment, if PimHel knew who the mafia are then his best course of action would have been to voteblock a townie -- the town would no longer be able to lynch anyone without the mafias' help -- with our roleblocker and vig gone, the town would have been hard pressed to stave off a scum victory. I don't see PimHel (or any competent player) trying for a WIFOM gambit in these circumstances. Heck, even not knowing who the mafia are, this still remains his best course of action.

@Shos: My feeling is that it's probably a tad early for a mass claim. I also think that a mass claim is neither likely to help or especially hurt at this point. So, I'm not opposed to it, either. This setup seems fairly tame in spite of its name.
