I'm not sure I agree with that sentiment.

I remember the ghost twist was wierd and Clock and Hatter were the only ghosts that did anything and they started protesting for ghost rights.
Only because Beast Boy couldn't look after me past one round of being a ghost!

Also Clock King only died then because the mods didn't let me finish my paranoia rants after I'd voted him dead!

339. Heisenburg (Narninian) - Names Are Hard

Image

"Heard through PMs that because I haven't been making small talk or posting in spam threads I might be on the chopping block. I don't think I can bring myself to spam to save me, so I'll have to work harder to ingratiate myself through other means."

I've been tossing Heisenburg and Toby Fox in the same boat in my head for a while now, although I suppose Heisenburg was the more interesting of the two, considering he never wanted to quit and he was vehemently against any sort of small talk. He also told Simba and Jagger he had an idol during the round he got voted off. So that's mildly interesting.

Honestly, though, the guy was selected as the obvious first boot from the get go. Most talks of strategy seemed to involve "What happens after the Heisenburg boot?" He just wasn't enough of a presence to even be a factor in the game. I think Heisenburg's character was more entertaining in theory than it ever was in practice. As it stands, I think Heisenburg was more of a
potentially
entertaining character than one who actually delivered.

Also, I think Narninian had a much greater impact as Spencer, so I don't feel the need to keep Heisenburg much longer.

338. Jonny Fairplay (Cheery Dog) - Expect the Unexpected

Jonny was eliminated early. He was okay, just got put up while Jenn was active and was the easiest option. Not too exciting.

Sorry for the bad write-up Cheery, just not feeling it atm but don't want to hold us up either

I'll tack on a few things about Jonny. Even though he was eliminated early, he had put a couple events in the forum calendar, like Jonny's Grandma's Funeral and there were a few of them. And just like most of Cheery's confessionals, even though he went early, he kept posting in his confessional about his commentary on game events and his life for a little while.

I read my Chansey confessional earlier tonight.

I would like to profoundly, deeply, and profusely apologize for every single one of my actions & statements that occured before the year....let's say 2015, just to be on the safe side.

upsettingly i have to decide that while heisenberg was incredible in PMs, those weren't in public view and can't really be considered part of his character without external discussion which is light

337. Toad (mastermind) - Mushroom Kingdom

Image

"All I want to know is what you thought your biggest move you made in the game was. Try to make it short cuz I didn't bother reading everything else."

you come to expect certain things when we enter the jury phase. you know, like, deliberations, at least some discussion of your thoughts, that sort of thing, because this is a really important phase innit, it needs content to work.

as u can see, not really what happened with toad!! we basically know nothing about the kid. he's maybe a jury threat, according to the ftc, because he was likable, but like, is that it? and why didn't we get anything from toad himself? and why did he not even bother to read the ftc? arghghghghghghgh makes m3 m4d

336. Sonic (JDGA) - Destiny Islands

Image

I chose this
quote
wall for a few reasons. Firstly, it's the best post in the confessional. Secondly, it highlights the problems with Sonic's game. The fact that he never really did anything himself, and picked up by alliances twice when he was due to be booted, resulting in rather interesting TCs. But as a confessional (and especially for JDGA standards), it's really bare. That plus really never doing anything as a player results in a (rather deserved) cut.

Sonic's power was nothing spectacular. Just three challenge advantages.
