It could be something to do with her role but I think it's best to disregard that when trying to read her actual alignment.
The rules say the game is 10 town : 3 maf so no jesters or anything like that.
I have some notes I made on mastina yesterday, I could share them if enough people are interested.

And I'm quite confident mastina is scum.

I believe every word she said except anything she said about alignment.

As in I believe all the WIM stuff and that it isn't because she rolled scum and she doesn't have any obvious reason for it and all that.

And because of this I think it's scum-indicative. I think she's taking advantage of how honest she can be about it. Plus it gives theexcuse to just shitpost and lurk whenever she wants.

I mean scum are messing about for sure but they're taking full advantage if the flipless nature of the game and I admire that they are playing it differently than a normal game.

I had this same thought. Maybe it's a ploy to get us to look at associations with DEB?

We don't need to bother about that. Associations can support cases; but we should still go for who's scummiest purely from dayplay.
