I don't mind the slot in question for scum. I like the slots on the wagon and it didn't feel as sleazy as some of the others.

overkill is a very "meh" lynch and it feels like ppl are agreeing to lynch him largely based off of consensus, rather than individual reads.

Eventually people have to do some lynching on consensus in a 24 person gamer and not just individual reads, that's sort of how mafia goes.

That being said, I specifically went through overk1ll's ISO before p[lacing my vote and it is REALLY uninspired.

Full disclosure, I'm on this wagon because it's the least bad option I see plus given how this game is going I'm not convinced we're gonna get a lynch in today. There are other slots I'd be much more interested in running up but alas.

This week was a thing!

I'm mostly caught up but I admittedly started skimming towards the last few pages which is a sign that I probably need to take a break and give the game another go tomorrow.

Some small thoughts/things that stood out during reread:
I'm generally feeling BS as a townlean (and thoroughly enjoyed 378, thanks for the laugh )

Didn't feel great about pisskop's initial catch-up but his engagement after that initial burst of posting was pretty decent.
Zito's productivity concerns feel townish. (Cannot confirm whether or not I'm Aristophanes though, wouldn't be any fun at all if I gave my identity away that easily )

So in Magical girls I think his scum agenda was linear and clear cut.

Find a townie to pocket.
Coast out the early game.
Push where there's an opening.

At least day 1 and then hard tunneled an already scumread slot with nonstellar associations. It was really "in scums wheelhouse" kind of play. So I think he plays more the emotional read than the logical one as scum.

E.g his early Titus read in magical girls which wasn't a logical read as either alignment and didn't respond the best to pressure. But it was enough to get through the day.

Fast forward to this game and there's definitely more engagement with the game. His trajectories make sense from town. So do his lines of questioning, which seem like he's actually asking things to ascertain motives and whether he feels something is alignment indicative. Instead of just asking questions to ask them if that makes sense.

I'll try to look at his ISO with what you're saying here in mind when I have some more time tomorrow.

(I will say that his general willingness to move his vote around/change his mind is making me feel less confident in general )

Can you talk more about why you felt this way and the specific votes that made you feel this way?

Absolutely 0 of this exchange feels genuine from IWBN's perspective IMO. The amount of large Themes we've had in the last year or so with stupidly high pagecounts that just result in games becoming attritional is real.

The point wasn't that spam isn't a problem, but moreso that it seemed unbelievable that someone could think that this was an unusual amount of posting compared to any other large game, especially with this many people in it. I'm kind of confused as to how you could misread that, especially since a lot of people were also initially finding it hard to believe that panthaleon's initial push was genuine?

Like, I know it's RVS and a certain amount of silliness is expected at this point, but... this isn't silliness, or at least it doesn't read like it. It reads... poorly.

If you're town and genuinely felt this way, then clearly I need to work more on my alt gimmick if it was coming across that badly

Will try to dig into some of the main wagons (ie: three votes or more ) tomorrow when I can get away from stuff, but for now I think Josh Wilkinson's claim reads a little like a stall for time, especially with the timing of the claim. Also still feel icky about a bunch of their posts, so:
