Hi, Head A here (again). I've heard from Head B, and it seems that Head B will not be playing this game, for whatever reason. My apologies for that.

Yes, I feel like I screwed up early on and yes, I was waiting for Head B to come rescue me. Now that that's not going to happen, I'll need to extricate myself from my own shitstorm.
