i got intimidated by the copious amounts of really good high effort players in this game which means i feel like i have to actually watch what i say and i'm not good at that so i'm too anxious to say anything that might cause me to be a mislynch send help

I feel like scum would more likely make up a trajectory rather than just naked vote us, but I'm curious to hear what ceejay's reasoning was

VOTE: Volxen

gives me "dead horse" vibes. Feel like it could have scum motive by following the leader i.e. X does something, couple of people react with Z, so scum follows suit to fit in.

Scrolling though posts...

Firebringer = maybe town; is when he realizes game has 4 scumz. had aster and blackjack as scumzies so im willing to believe this statement more cause it shows he wasn't looking for four peeps to start with

this seems a bit hasty ATM this was posted

aster had made some other reads to other players. why aren't those cases being used - presumably by you - to determine her (his? the avatar is throwing me off. sorry aster) alignment?

tis official is whip cream. lots of words, but when you break it down into a single sentence... not much substance to it.

BlackJack
In post 393, Aster wrote:Most unfortunately lurking isn't alignment indicative, which makes it hard for me to establish any proper read on them.
Gamma Emerald
In post 393, Aster wrote:His active lurking while dancing around "my meta has changed" and calling it a town meta (323) does draw my attention as potentially scummy.
Keyzer
In post 393, Aster wrote:So far Keyser Söze has given me no concrete reasons to think he's town nor reasons to believe he's scum. I'm writing him as "neutral".
Pint
In post 393, Aster wrote:I am somewhat wary of pinturicchio because of this.
In a nutshell...

BlackJack = null
Gamma = potentially scummy
Keyzer = null
Pint = null

VOTE: Aster - I like this better. :3

@Aster
- so besides pointing out RC's chainsaw defense of Volxen in and reaching an FoS on the both of them... did that post get you any closer to sorting out their alignments?

In post 840, Nibbui wrote:Spring for being kinda awkward and not contributing much to the game.
Spring's firmly in the camp that the slot will resolve later. Either the majority will lynch this slot off before LyLo or scum might kill it off because it's the weakest link me thinks.

guy's null for me right now.
In post 840, Nibbui wrote:BlackJack because one of the heads is playing differently but the explanation is because they created this hydra exactly because they wanted a less tryhard approach, also they did hard scum read Volxen since very early.
i don't trust meta reads/wagons, so the first point is bleh. Their push against Volxen - specifically them noticing his parroting - feels town.
In post 840, Nibbui wrote:Ceejay for the reasons I explained in the last 2 pages or so.
Only one of your points in is legit (joining the BlackJack wagon). the rest are just conf bias or differences in play style.

Can you point me in the direction where BlackJack seems town to you? That's if you can't put your finger on why exactly they seem more town to you.

By the mechanic of scum being able to kill their own before they can be lynched, doesn't that give a possibility of a weak player be towncleared for the simple reason that scum cant afford to have them lynched?

The fact scum have the ability to kill their own seems more of a red herring, to be honest. Like the color of the flag.

Pedit: when I see/hear explanations, there's always a tone behind it. Rereading Aster gives me less of an emotional response then rereading Blackjacks, though arguably they did a similar read response. Blackjack did critism much more then just bashing the other player from the way i read it. His responses seem individual, and less group I guess?

He seems more unsure, therefore an individual who only knows their own role. Aster reads more indecisive, which is similar but different from unsure. More... Unlikely to care if any of the listed do flip since they could know the outcome already.
