Would you be willing to vote Pavowski?

So I now retract my previous statement that I think Zyla slot and Pavowski could be the team in light of T3’s debut. To me, looking at deadline and all, it comes down to T3 or Pavowski. I don’t have Pavowski as a lock town or anything but I find T3 scummier. I would love to hear from Umlaut on this matter if he can be around. You said you wanted to try Pavowski because the NM read makes sense. Would you still rather do Pavowski than T3 in light of the last few pages?

Mostly AFK today. I still somewhat prefer Pav to T3 but not by much and mostly because, as Luke pointed out, T3 always acts approximately this erratically and it's hard to confidently scumread it. I do need to revisit my old Zyla read and decide if I still agree with it.

I don't know that I would say always, because this is a recent change for T3
Just 2 months ago, it was like he had like a completely different playstyle. He was not erratic in this way, and I found his town playstyle to be townie, and when I got a town read on him, I would go out of my way to defend his slot. (See this game: Open 815)
I really liked playing with the old-playstyle-T3, and I don't know what inspired him to change his playstyle to what it is now...

scumread. t3 is a bit tricky to read, but i dont like how he was saying not_mafia was crumbing a pr > if maf didnt catch onto it, its just helping them. i dont think a townies would do that.
i also didn't have a good read on zyla either because of her posts, it didn't really look like she was trying to solve imo.
If Not_Mafia was crumbing a PR, then what do you think of Luke's argument for the VT/PR massclaim? In that case, even if maf didn't catch onto it, wouldn't it be a nonissue?

i dont agree with lukes argument for that,
even tho he said "it forces maf to make a decision", maf will easily work around that and just kill off prs. > based on what the pr claims have said throughtout the game, maf just might be able to deduce what role they are from subconscious tells. it could be leaving us too wide open yknow?
also it just makes the game pretty solved, which ruins the fun of trying to solve it >.<

outing who
might
be a pr is still be an issue imo depending on which setup we're in.
In post 717, Pavowski wrote:Interestingly NM calls for us to elim Luke today but isn't actually voting him now, either.
So I can hammer him later
He's doing the same to me as he was doing to Luke to start today, pressuring other people to vote me while withholding his own vote. He had more than enough opportunity to hammer T3 though.
Meanwhile, your (t3) call for massclaim as a ploy to test Luke or take the fall for NM or -- whatever all that was -- smells, and 838 feels just designed to make your slot unreadable.

Sorry all, I said I'd take a closer look at the thread but it was a late night for me and a long one at work today. I'm trying to find the energy to post more in depth but I'm kinda scraping bottom right now. Need to get some food down my neck and I'll circle back.

I have actually talked myself out of the T3 vote. Basically in 863.
T3 saw Not_Mafia pushing me right out the gate, and his first thought appears to be that Not_Mafia had a guilty result on me. Obviously, scum would never have that thought, because they would know that he could not get a guilty on me, and this also does not seem like and angle scum would take.
So, this might just be bad town play....

Anyway, to think a little harder about this I'm not sure anybody else should claim at this point. The Val NK only really makes sense in light of PR-hunting as I think Umlaut pointed out, unless this is Luke pulling a galaxy brain play. And I don't buy that.
For me, I think it makes sense to wait another day for claims. We'll be at 5 tomorrow (or who knows, maybe 6). If we don't reveal, there's a decent chance we don't lose a PR tonight. I'm just not in favor of revealing the PRs and doing scum's work for them.
PEdit: Luke makes a good point about what T3 could've known. Makes that entrance a bit less scummy than I originally thought

The only time I've seen NM hard push another player was when he had an effective guilty.

I hard disagree with this. I compiled this earlier, but like, look at how he pushed these people in our prior games. Both times Not_Mafia was a Vanilla Townie, so clearly making a push does not require a PR result

eh i think gypx is way more scum than drap. drap has been very solvy on finding mafia wit a town mindset imo. the interation wit them and gypx just made gypx look worse. they also had good reactions against luke. i might be biased tho
