Why did you switch your vote over so quickly after only hearing Huntress's claim?

Because huntress was willing to claim instead of fighting it, which says something to me.

I asked RR why I shouldn't boost him because I want to know.

Okay, my reread.

For the benefit of those who haven't played with me before, I rank players on a system from 0-100, 0 being absolute town and 100 being absolute scum. 50 is the default and means "I don't see a preponderance of towntells or scumtells". 50 does not mean "no opinion"/"ambivalent"/etc.

12: sthar8 suggests MC. Almost as a rule, theme games are made so that MC is not a game-breaking strategy; and it surprises me that sthar8 doesn't seem to pay any heed to this risk at all.
15: Not sure why iLord votes Eld for boosting Electra. (Are "unboosts" possible?)
27: In making a valid point about Electra's argument, Skillit presumes that Electra could only have been hasty because of a "thirst for power" or a "thirst for power and blood". He doesn't address the very real objective prospect of it simply being an omission by Electra, or Electra reasonably presuming that scum couldn't start powerless (because that would make a game very hard for scum). More importantly, Electra didn't even say that there could only be scum without power. She just said that mafia, if boosted, would probably get bonuses (+1)
28: Crazy posts and makes no comment on the MC suggestion, despite commenting on the Electra boost, thus making it clear he has read. (+1)
45: SKill makes a massive backpedal from his previous point on Electra. He doesn't repudiate his argument - instead he says he is thorough and that Electra's mistake is no definite tell and he was just being jokey. When, in fact, his previous post made it very clear that he was attributing Electra's actions intentionality. (+2)

I never said you shouldn't boost me. I said boosting *anyone* for no stated reason and then switching to the popular target after being questioned about it is way scummy. Why did you boost me? Why did you unboost me to boost Incog? Why did you not supply us with any of the info we've asked you to?

Why are we boosting Incog? I'm not somfortable with that.

Are we allowed to boost the same person again?

Incog made a claim that makes a lot of sense about starting as a one shot vig, with a boost likely giving him additional "bullets". We want to test that. Plus, he's a very unlikely buddy for Jahudo.

Were allowed to boost twice, but according to electra any further boosts after that will have no effect.

But we'd know we aren't hitting maf.

And I figure you're all suspicious of me, but from the way my PM's worded I think I can be boosted again.

Cos he looks most town to me behind Electra, who i'm basically convinced is town.

The order isn't important. The timing and reluctance/willingness is. It's not protown to claim right when someone demands that you do it. The most protown time to claim is when it's necessary, and only then.

No i've barely read anything yet. Just got back to Sheff! Exhausted right now, will do a PA shortly...

I was joking on Eld btw, all it was was I liked his reaction to El's claim.

To an extent yes, but I don't know what he actually thought they were, but my guess is a good as his.

My next stint of Mafiascum time will be devoted to do select rereads in this game. Hopefully something useful will come up.

I thought the implied question was obvious, but anyway: What are these two roles he probably thought he could have? Is one of them the role you actually claim to have? Why do you think did all this make him think a day one mass claim was a good idea?
