backhander is just my term for shading a player while you defend them. By mentioning either reason others scum read them as a sign they or town. Or dismissing the scum read in weak way that only achieves keeping the very reason at very scum read alive. Both are things town often does in counter productive way. Basicly just keep a player talking about why they scum read them.

So its quite normal to have scum immune to vig. either through gating on the vig or scum doc or maybe even bulletproof
