the thing is that there was a load of context and posts in between 199 and the post that penguin voted gc (i think 619) and so i think it's a little disingenuous to just condense all of that to 'voting GC despite GC beting a TR earlier'
i don't think he's long-term really changed from his townread on me either
and i don't know if he ever had a townread on you that he went back on by voting you?
he's currenetly townreading me and otherwise idk offhand but i townread him so all's good

on skims, Dany&dragon, infinity, and gamma look townie, and no, there is no rhyme or reason to who I'm choosing to look at, this is all gut and I reserve the right to change my mind at any time
So... how do you tell a bomb apart from a goon?
Don't ask me ┐(´ー`)┌
Tell me, yyotta, cat to cat: what are your thoughts on MURDERCAT this game?
I was originally townreading MURDERCAT because he doesn't seem scummy to me. But then the MURDERCAT wagon built up and now I have no idea.

why does the fact that there's now a wagon change the fact that you didn't originally find him scummy?

What did you think of his vote on you? You never responded to the points he made against you

i'm p sure she was mis-flip-y day1 and i spent most of day1 arguing that she was town flipbait, she got voted out anyways, and then i was under pressure for white-knighting her afterwards
fun times
still kinda think she's townie here

so by mis-flip-y you mean like in line with her play this game?
Murder can you explain your read on the shadow/catboi slot?

sorry I was not able to spend as much time as I wanted on this today.
@penguin are you currently townreading dumb&dumber? when/why did you start townreading skitter? is the read based on something other than how skitter is reading you?
@skitter similar question. when/why did you start townreading penguin? what changed from the early game that made you switch your read?

Upon pondering murdercat's attempt at a case and briefly skimming PP's meta, I conclude he is still dead null.

@lilith there was a night last week where he just kept posting exactly what i was thinking, and i would go to post and like in the previews insaw he wrote my very thoughts. Not once but like multiole times that night
That makes me feel like he's approaching the game the same way i am, and thus with a townie pov
This game stalled weirdly

Do you mind looking in his ISO and pointing to where that started?
On an unrelated note, I didn’t really like gamma’s reaction to me vs auro, repeatedly saying it was pointless and then not bothering to try to redirect or offer any game-related content. I don’t have much, if any, experience playing with him but I feel like he doesn’t really feel interested in solving.

Re: murdercat pushing penguin, I think town!penguin is a deceivingly easy-looking push for scum to make. I’m not sold on town!penguin but I think it’s worth looking into who the top wagon was when murder tried to wagon penguin to see whether it could have been scum!murder trying to divert wagon away from a scumbuddy. Need to sleep so I’ll do that tomorrow after work hopefully.
@skitter what implications do you think the stalled gamestate has?

oops I forgot to include the sassy parenthetical that I thought of while describing penguin.

I also still have serious reservations about dumb&dumber but am trying to compile like actually coherent sentences about it before I blow up the thread again. But from where I’m standing, they haven’t done anything particularly town-indicative. Can I get people’s thoughts on them please?
This was posted at 8:33, so PP hadn’t posted in thread for a little while.
In post 185, PenguinPower wrote:Scummy but that’s probably influenced somewhat by nai things. I disagree with skitter assessment and the agreement post was gross.
Wouldn’t be sad if he was yeeted, but it’s early.
But he immediately responded at 9:44. I thought this was suspicious because it suggested he was reading the thread but not responding. So I tested it again (also there was other stuff that happened that I shouldn’t discuss that made me more comfortable voting there).
This was at 10:42. This is exactly the tell that I used to catch scum in Death Curse.
Here are some examples of him doing the exact same thing with me in the last game where he was scum.
In post 61, MURDERCAT wrote:It's 7:30 am on a Friday in September. Rain poured throughout the night, but a glance out the window showed the sun starting to fight through the clouds. I had barely started to drink my morning joe when a commotion outside caught my attention. Gathered in the town square, a number of residents seemed to be arguing. I couldn't make it out.
Upon approaching the crowd, I realized this was no simple disagreement. The townspeople were at each other's throats. I guess it's up to me settle this. I had barely begun to listen to the conversation when I was roped in. An old friend, penguinpower, started pointing at me. But for what?
Before I could respond, the crowd's attention turned elsewhere. A young girl named isis who I had recently become acquainted with said something questionable, but I didn't think much of it.
Recognizing my own excitement, I took a moment to collect myself. I realized that whatever this disagreement was about could only be solved one way: by semirandomly killing other citizens until it ended. I picked my first target.
VOTE: Taylor Swift
As I organized my thoughts I couldn't help but notice one of the voices rise above the rest, disrupting my deduction. Ah, of course. Not_Mafia, the town idiot, was yelling as well, though it seemed to be unrelated to whatever the others were going on about. I'd do well to ignore him if possible. I started to drown out the useless noise and focus on the task before me. It was time to begin.

That doesn’t seem like nothing.
Delay: 1 minute
Looking at the rest of his iso what has he done?

Not strong enough to scumread him yet. He said on 855, it's his Day 1 playstyle, if he will continue do the same on Day 2, then this passiveness of his will indicate scum behaviour, but right now he is null to me.
