Few things. I think your other head (Bell) just rubs me wrong instinctively on tone. There's a lot of meandering in their posts outside of direct jabs to people through confrontation. I also don't feel like your head has anything definitive to say right now. Are you not a D1 player?

I'm the head that's been posting partial reads lists. I'm very much a D1 player, but I think my playstyle can look like "not doing much" to people who aren't familiar with how I play. Maybe it's a fair observation. Doesn't feel that way from inside my head, though.

I'm getting hydra whiplash. Bell seems showy with his thoughts even if they're very surface level. You tease more often but don't come together with your partner. It's like I have to treat you like two different entities instead of just one with slightly differing goals. Maybe you two should come together and make your own readlist and I'd be able to read your perspective from there.

This is our first game as a hydra. This is the game where we figure out how to mesh our playstyles, or figure out it works better if we don't mesh, maybe. You're absolutely right that we're playing as two different entities. I was a little concerned last night when I caught up after the walk, that our reads aren't going to mesh at all toDay. But, we have points of agreement, and having a partner to reel me in if/when I go off the rails worrying about medea is probably going to make this game livable for me. I really don't like the way Cabd attacked Bell last night and I don't like the amount of manipulation he tried with his post this morning.

Medea is just going to be righteous regardless of alignment. You've given her reason to do so. That's what I'm saying and what I don't like about Bell, is that he has to understand this by now. He just kept going on and on about the AtE and now they're being even more closed off than before.

You've offered more reasons why you dislike players who arent on your scum list than the ones that are.

AA9 is inactive. Titus seems unfamiliar to anything going on and doesn't seem like she cares. You speak on your own terms but I don't think it reflects of anything realistic. This is why I'm fine with Manatee. I see the process, and her means of trying to work through it. Her apologies about being messy didn't seem like an excuse rather she just doesn't trust herself. I like that she seemed unguarded in that moment and just let it happen instead of pretending it didn't. She owned up to her own mistakes because she really wanted to have her thoughts get out there regardless.

What is it about Dragons that concerns you?

I have mixed feelings about Manatee. The wording issue that led to her expressing a scumread of Luke reminds me a little of Ceph's theme game where she perspective slipped a couple times and brushed it off as not communicating clearly. But, she's keeping her head in the game more here, I think, and there's a little more nuance to her reads here than in that game where she was scum.

Re Pooky, neither do I, but he's doing stuff which I think is a good sign.

Medea is composed of two players who can usually absorb quite a bit of negativity without being tilted. Cabd in particular can be highly manipulative from a genuine spark. I hate having to spend so much mental capital on this read already. It could easily be a situation where we've both started on the wrong foot trying to figure each other out.

I'm not confident about reading LLD, but I think Cabd's point about her approach to the shard mechanic is a good one. I tend to bristle at her thread control tactics, which are a huge weapon for her as all alignments. She's not doing that here, and it's disarming.

Bell has played quite a bit with scum-Spiffeh (5 recent games I think?). I haven't played much with him, but I did pretty quickly find him as town in the one game we played where he was town. Activity/availability to be here in the moment is what it is, though. We reread Spiffeh's early posts in his town game WH13. He hit ~some~ similar notes here, but there are also differences.

Cabd emotionally manipulates as either alignment. They arm twisted Annie to leave them alone.
Before arm twisting me but I don't let go. They did that to me in yggrassil and I'm just not going to let that dissuade me from trying to sort them early.

AtE mid-game in a mafia game is just not a good reason to lay off when half the time it's scum doing it.

I don't see Medea being culled for AtEing. It's not beneficial at this rate. If you think they're scum then at least interrogate them with a different approach. You don't need to invalidate yourself if you think the AtE is coming from scum, but it cannot be your only reason.

I do feel as though I'm going to have trouble meshing with your playstyle as well, yes, but I'm not allowing that to become a scumread at this time as it seems like a style issue. You're brusque and I have some trouble tracking your thought processes.

I don't feel uncomfortable. uncertainty is something I live with (being assured is at baseline a scumtell for me, but i know that most players in this game are aware of that, so if i were scum i would probably manufacture uncertainty anyway). I can see why it would come off as scummy to someone who isn't used to me, that's a common experience when i venture outside playing with people who know me.

At first, I thought you were an alt of someone who knows the players in this game, but it's increasingly seeming like that isn't the case, so I'm still figuring out what your deal is.

Run through that with me? I vehemently disagreed with that point about the shard mechanic, if it's the post I think you're referring to.

I don't know if it would be possible for Rhea to control the thread in that way. Townreading her for that seems misguided to me.

I don't want you to defend them. I'm not really defending Medea either. I don't townread their behavior and have shown I would vote them. I need a different angle from you two then just AtE AtE AtE.

Yes I am completely detached from this group. It is odd to deal with at times so I have to go with what I know. You speak on your uncertainty so could you at least tell me what you're so uncertain about? Unless you mean it instinctively comes from yourself and that's how I should be reading it.
