If anyone wants specific thoughts, you're welcome to ask. I've been following along somewhat.

Mainly: burn, just don't do it again. I just remembered another one where Safety false guiltied someone when he had a true guilty as a reaction test, that person was quickwagoned, flipped Town, and Safety was killed that night before he had a chance to share his real guilty.

Newbies, take note: Faking results rarely works out well for townies.

And another note: when a cop clear makes it to LyLo, it's time to re-evaluate. If Jake or Rach had gone, "why would the clear make it to LyLo over someone who is not clear...?" they might have had it even so.

Being so sick with allergies mainly lots of sinus headaches and congestion without being able to take decongestants has NOT helped my game lately. Also trying to get back on a daytime schedule so I make my doc apt on April 1st has not been easy.

The really sad part was there was no need to fake he had a real result.

I did question it. But when rach said she didn't know Luca was clear that made me think she missed it due to her lur.. I mean sickness.

Note I didn't vote anyone even when I was convinced it was rach.

I'm really pissed we lost when I fucking had Luca dead to rights

Yes, you are.

It's a newbie in his first town-game who was sure his top townread was going to go down and he couldn't do anything about it so he tried to save them. Did he make a mistake? Yes. He has been told that, repeatedly. But saying you're going to report him for gamethrowing and playing against win condition is wrong. That gambit was done to SAVE HIS STRONGEST TOWNREAD. He was certain Luca was town so he tried to save him. Yes, his lie cost the game. But that doesn't mean you report him for gamethrowing or playing against win condition. You explain why it's wrong then you let it go. You already put him on your no-play list, do you really have to report him for a mistake too? It's bullshit and it's overreacting. He knows not to do it again, so it IS fine.

I sincerely apologize guys I jumped the gun and took a risk that wasnt my risk to take. I must have some shitty luck because I rolled the 1 out of 7. The thinking behind it was I didnt want to leave NS the guy who i really investigated with Joker and Rach, who I thought were town. Rach was inactive and Joker didnt seem to be doing anything helpful. I thought Luca was the most town after NS so I took a risk and faked the claim. I figured he needed a strong ally and that I was dead anyway with how much I proclaimed how I knew the two were town. Lesson learned and wont do it again.

Dude it was a mistake, Ive never been a cop before and now I know better. You are wiggin out over a Newbie game. Any other game Id understand but Christ man. I fucked up, Ill say it again, I fucked up. But a no play list and reporting me is well....childish. I mean I get why you are heated, I would be too, but it was a mistake by a rookie cop. As far as Im concerned when you sign up for a Newbie game you take on the risk of dumb shit like what I did happening. Not that it excuses what I did but its a newbie game, its like preseason football. I mean I dont know how many times or different ways I can say that Im sorry

Burn, I hope you saw the points I gave you. I often get a PR (usually Doc more than any other), so I have a lot of experience being a PR.

Yea I read them and looked at them. A big part of the reason I claimed too was because I thought for sure I would have been killed that night because of how hard I was pounding the table for Notty. It looked like I knew something. You are right though. No excuse.

Well that was unexpected, I followed this closely, it being my first ever game and all. I didnt even know what the dead QT was till the end and Serra linked it again. Pretty trippy game and I am glad at least one of my picks on D1 was right. Thank you guys for the game, got any hints on how I can avoid getting lynched D1 again? I know that being active is a major part but I am only able to get on once a day normally.

Jebus Burn that was a mental risk to take....

Just play as strong as you can. I thought your play was relatively fine, but I was in tunnel mode so maybe I missed whatever it was people didn't like?

Have you sobered up yet Serra? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts

Just about, but I have a busy day. I might get to write something proper up this evening. Broadly speaking, the town towned pretty well, which made the whole thing quite difficult for scum. Zivel, NM, and Rach were mislynchable, if only by PoE. In a different game with more analytical players, I think Luca would have done quite well, but it's hard to out-town players like gfm and notsci with his play style. With more town infighting, joker would have slid by. From D2 I would have expected a town win though. I don't have much to add about burn's gambit that hasn't been said here or in the dead thread, I'm just glad the last two days were quick. I hope you guys all stick around, and perhaps this can act as a cautionary tale about risky gambits.

AMEN on that Serra I keep telling peeps that most gambits end up kicking you hard in the rear.

ESPECIALLY in Newbie setups.
