I chose the Mathemakitten for similar reasons, CooLDoG. There are pictures of him in the pet thread! He’s cute! I almost changed my avatar to a picture of him for this game but I was in LYLO in my first scum game when this one started I think and I was worried people would be suspicious of the sudden avatar change and then wgeurts was rolefishing for cats on page 1 and so I didn’t. If I had changed my avatar, this game would have gone better for me I think.

I had a lot of fun this game. I totally missed that my night kill was 1-shot, though. This was the best role PM I ever had and probably the best I ever will have and it was a really awesome two weeks. Getting crosskilled for being obvtown sucked but I had a lot of fun rolefishing everyone who came into the dead thread and pretending to submit night actions from the dead thread.

Poor Groot, though. No wonder he wasn’t using the phrases I gave him to scumhunt!

First off, please, I am a "she."

Second, I'm totally not understanding how guessing players made my role overpowered. There was no chance of me being able to guess anyone, and even if I did guess a player or two correctly I wouldn't necessarily be able to get them lynched or save them from lynching.

From my pov, my role was barely a step up from Groot's.

And I would have liked access to the Dead Thread. They were having a ball in there!

There's no way I would have been able to get everyone's info. I didn't have a snowball's chance of winning.

But the game was interesting and fun despite the frustration.

I made the names up as I went along. There wasn't enough time to be fancy and/or rigorous. If anything they were just "Mafia".

I would suggest shorter Night phases.

(1) Longer Night phases technically help your role.
(2) It's easier to meet deadlines when not doing everything via phone from a 6+ time offset from everyone else.

If you still don't understand your role and the ability to basically get the mod to say, for instance,

There are four players or factions that control Night-kills.

or

This game does not conform to the post GreyICE made in the sign-up thread.

or

Ozgin is dead. His alignment was Town.

or

Two abilities have been used during the Day phase.

or

It is not the case that there are two Town Doublevoters in this game.

or

There are three roles in this game that can redirect actions.

followed by

All three of the roles that can redirect actions were dead before the beginning of Day 2.

, then *shrug* .


I accidentally closed the tab with the Night actions on them, but after Night 2 basically nothing happened that you didn't see inthread.

I didn't have a computer for this entire game or I promise you I would have. That was quite possibly the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me in mafia.

I didn’t just do it for towncred; it was multiball so I needed to scumhunt for real, and your post restriction made your slot unreadable to me, though it seems like your role pm made your slot unreadable to yourself as well!

you were shot because we felt that you would be difficult to deal with in a lylo situation which both me and mew thought was going to happen to our scum team. I felt rally good about this game after I got on scum wagons I knew I had the town cred to carry myself to lylo, provided I didn't get cross killed.

It was a well done game, possibly a bit too many third partys, but I had fun. The role PM's were well done. I got a bit pissy about the modding, but I didn't realize WHY it was in place, which was my bad. Also, apparently the rest of the town/scum didn't think so... But whatever, this game was so scum heavy that expediency of lynches was the best approach for most players I think..

I also need to read this dead thread apparently.

Also I did not mean to mess up this game with Space Dandy as much as I did. For the longest time both games were progressing at the same pace. Pretty sure Kling was the only player in both but it was enough to fuck me up and get everything confused
