Not sure why it's confusing. Yes it's town, yes it's smart play, imo yes they are.

Pretty sure paleontologist get excited by big finds also. While it's a failed analogy the point he's trying to convey is clear.

I'd also like to add some info about me that may or may not be known by people in this game. I'm known for tunneling. People always tell me to stop tunneling. I've also been trying to change the way I play for over a year but have had issues. Something happened to me once my dad died and for some reason I actually want to make an effort to change. I know how much my exsistace in games pisses people off but how unenjoyable the game becomes because of my tunneling/stubborn play. I've had a minimum of 10 people swear they would never play with me again.

So while it would be super easy to death tunnel creature into oblivion all while making this one of the longest most unenjoyable games in the sites history and probably force people
To replace out to get away from me.

I'm opting for the more smarter, more mature thing. The thing that players who are considered good do. They don't focus on one person. They keep their eyes open and question multiple people.

So him saying I should only focus on one/two people is actually encouraging bad play and is fundamentally the wrong way to play.

Not to mention that no townie can ever be 100% sure of anything and refusal to admit you can be wrong is a sign of a bad player (which is also something I'm known for)

And that's all I've got to say about that

Objection! According to my words, it can either be town OR smart play! But thank you for your other responses.
PEDIT: I'm asking if the reasons you were scumreading Creature were the ones I pointed out: the crumb claim and the reason he left my wagon.

I feel like we're close to solving the game, so I am fine with your tunneling.

I found his 180 weird and since you didn't crumb anything him being able to accept that you did struck me as odd. He has also done other things like weird deflections which were unnecessary not to mention I did catch him in a lie. Now people may not agree with me that he lied, I interpret it as one and that's all that matters

He's kinda been on the sidelines, but he's not afraid to say what he thinks. Null leaning town.

I have a mild suspicion on him. Not sure if anyone saw it earlier but it's for reasons I didn't really want to go into. At this point I don't really care if I spill the beans.

He and I are neighbors. Now I personally hate neighbors in games but the one time I played with a neighbor I was scum with 2 townies. I've seen all town neighborhoods before so they are certainly possible.

Also I don't know if it's just the 2 of us or if there are more. The mod didn't tell us. He basically said we could introduce ourselves. Now he didn't lock the thread during that long pregame and that worried me. I felt whoever else was in the game was probably scum. To go 2 days without even a hello was weird. I made a comment about it and right after the mod made a post that implied to me that the lack of posting wasn't suspicious which resulted in me having a conversation with the mod via pm because I interpreted that as alluding to alignment. He confirmed that he didn't and my concerns were unreasonable. It took a while (working off memory here) after the game started for him to finally post and his excuse wasn't that beliveable to me.

Now his play during the game didn't bother me much so he was on the null spectrum but after the post from the new replacement (petroleum?) he made some valid points that made me move him back to the null or possibly scummy section. I am not sure if I buy his response to petroleum so where it stands he's a slight scum read and since neither of us are confirmed alignment to each other I figure it doesn't hurt anything revealing we have a neighborhood.

I assume it's just us 2.

That's basically where I'm at with him.

What about you?

I've had him as townlean for most of the game, because he seemed to be trying to get engaged in the discussion. Though, his recent posts are starting to worry me, it seems like he wants to make sure me or Eggman is lynched today.

(That question, appropriately, was directed at Dragon of the West, because he asked for clarification, but thank you for your response, Robb.)

Yes those were the reasons. Especially since I was suspicious about him even prior to all of that. The more time that goes on, the more I think he really did a 180 because of your "crumb". While I disagree with it, I can see creature and his cocky self changing his mind so certainly after something like that

As far as egg goes, I don't think I'd want to lynch him today. Creature I'm still undecided on. If we can make a good case on someone else, I'm all for that as well.
Yes, Robb and I are neighbors and the reason I've been concerned about Robb was because from my understanding, it's more likely to have multiple alignments in neighborhoods to avoid the power of it being masons. This made me think Robb might be scum. Now there may be a third person lurking in the neighborhood since we don't know who or how many people belong in it, and that makes me uneasy

This is such bad logic…

The power of masons is that they are confirmed.

If it were up to me, we would be lynching derek…

I'll vote robb or crab at deadline though cause those are my weaker town reads

Really wanna get more out of mario.

When I read the wiki I thought that it's more likely that there are multiple alignments though :o But yes I guess a lot of the power is in it being confirmed

Derek has been in and out recently, I don't like the past couple days from him. And I can agree about the Mario thing. At this point, even if he is town he's a liability or at best worthless

We have around 5 days to deadline, what's stopping you from voting/pressuring me? Apart from mentioning that I'm one of your top scumreads a couple of times, you haven't really done anything with it.

I like my vote where it is, I gut scum read mario and that slot needs pressure.

What do you make of crabman changing his meta so dramatically from the other game that a lot of the same players were in? What's your read on dragon?

I am up to go over the lynch threat level.

tbh I can't get a conclusion on that dramatical playstyle change and "I don't know what to do" reaction, though, I can't let him go that easy.
What's your read on dragon?

You make at least 2 posts which imply you don't scum read me anymore yet I'm still in your lynch pool?

Interesting
