yesterday we had a bunch of quick wagons
then we lost two low-presence players
the players on the quick lynch don't seem very introspective about their error
yet wagons are forming slowly today

perhaps scum is towards the top of the activity range?

This is super opportunistic.

1) There was ZERO wrong with that lynch yesterday in my opinion. That dude was as scummy as I have ever seen any player be ever in any game I have ever played ever.

2) That dude was useless baggage as town, given the way he played possibly even negative value as town, glad we got rid of him, so even though we didn't get scum, there was still utility in that lynch.

3) Those "quick wagons" happened over like 5 days of play time, why are you drawing conclusions about the velocity of lynches already today with just a few hours in the day? Also if scum was trying to use quick wagons as a means to get town lynched, why didn't they pull the trigger on popop or you?

Popop I'm...better scum than to try to look town by being confused in the NK.

It was an overreaction in hindsight, I wasn't feeling all that emotion, but I was still very very confused why the hell someone would murder elems because I don't buy they thought he was a mason from the start.

In fact in all my scum games, I never tried that approach even though I do weird kills quite often. I always rationalize it as wolf, I would probably say this as scum:

"This is just hyphotetical, but maybe Elements (if he's really the nk and not a vig shot) was probably killed because scum isn't being suspected?

but maybe they had other reasons or suspected him being a PR, who knows I guess."

The above is a scumpost. My reaction here would call too much attention.

Just want to point out that in our last game, we NK'd Saudade N1 and I did that because I thought he was town PR but also because I thought it was an unexpected kill. And I still think it was an unexpected kill. But you evaluated that kill carefully, not with "omg what is happening" language, see:

Norwegian went to a FB wagon when Peter wagon popped up as well I think (need to check), and mostly stayed there lukewarm, maybe to avoid bussing a buddy.

My solve in the moment is that popop is a scum-motivated wagon, and when the wagon got switched to Peter, they kept on popop but got lukewarm about it.

Norwe voted Fire in the early pages, afterwards switched to popop, and voted again Fire later with "here's a real wagon" when Peter was put to L-1.

Profi voted popop, began to ask around "but do you think popop is town?" when Peter wagon was around, and when jake wagon did rise up, said "we need a hammer to progress", but didn't seen to have much faith in the Jake wagon and was already hinting on "popop being a wagon that was deflected".

Nero is the most natural of the guys I suppose, but he only voted popop though the whole thing, bickered with profi a bit, and later gave intent to hammer Jake. I feel he's the least worse slot that has associatives with Peter.

Saudade can be scum, maybe. A read in progress.
