BM pulled up so that's good news. My priority this game thus far has been to sort what kind of scumteam we're dealing with. I mostly left the SE/Ringers alone outside of BBmolla (who I actually disliked) and focused on pressuring the newbies. My thought process was to see if anyone would contest my logic, but instead surprisingly, I feel like I was left a bit too unchecked. The only people who have reallly contested me are quiet/Mikul. Even Illwei to some respect. I've been ruminating on D1 and why it went down. I've been thinking about if it's Newbie/Newbie, SE/Newbie, or SE/SE. It's a bit preemptive I'll admit, but it helps my sorting and I've been more about reading the gamestate instead of fully individual players. A lot of what I see is mostly just feedback and determining what's going on around me and why.

So right now, I think that we should lim in Peta/Safebet, and I think one of them should flip scum. After processing a few things I again go back to D1 and how it unsettles me. I know for a fact I'm town therefore all of my efforts are pure, but that doesn't mean they don't have to be

wrong

as well. And let me say this: I think Peta/Safebet would both be more willing to get in my face and tell me I'm wrong (or correct my assumptions), but instead they've mostly idled and have a more meek appearance. I meant what I said when I mentioned that I liked peta playing, but if Peta were actually attuned to this game from a town mindset I feel he'd be less willing to accept it. He said today he's willing to make a case on someone (which, in terms of meta, I don't think peta likes doing that shit lol) it's a stretch, but something I read as plausible with everything presented. As for safebet? His posts err on sensibility but I think they're ineffectual. Doesn't really seem like he's scumhunting nor has a further point to make, only provocate lims and posting ideals for player behavior, which doesn't align with actually having a read on them. I'd say a lot of my conclusions about these two is represented in the gamestate, wherein I no longer am interested in the idea of Newbie/Newbie.

I do prefer Safebet before Peta though. Some part of me buys that Peta is just playing a different way and trying to help town in the meantime, but I remain skeptical so long as Peta restrains himself for ? reasons.

Other thoughts include being a bit disappointed with Lunar's lack of anything thus far and just the very slightest bit of tinfoil as to why that is. SE/Newbie can still be out there honestly, but going into D2 and repeating the same mentality where I was testing to see if it was Newbie/Newbie isn't going to get me anywhere.

yes but scum might prefer to be able to choose their NK, say, ahead of LyLo - rather than having to NK the Doc and take whatever remains.

If Lunar is town, a half-decent scumteam kills them tonight I think (unless their reads massively suck). But if they don't, good news for us! All speculation anyway.

Can't talk about this it's ongoing but if you wanna compare another game you could look at Large Normal 230. This kinda seeps into why meta is a scent and never a tell, and that's because people alter their behavior based on what's going around them, or even who they're playing with. Uwnd quiet is still my main 2. I read them scum independently. Uwnd is just fucking weird. He's a very good player reading through his past games and he's either half assed this game or just wants to take a back seat
