Scum are more concerened about read consistency. Confident Town players can ebb and flow, push hard when they feel the need and take a step back as appropriate. Even when you're pushing your strongest SR as Town, don't you also get moments of uncertainty? Why is it required to tunnel the shit out of your scumread? It's not natural

And while Townies do tunnel a lot, it's certainly easier for scum to tunnel away rather than reconsider and open themselves up to vulnerability, which you seem to have jumped on here

Luca kinda implied that by pointing out that I've played with Suji as both alignments. I have, in fact, played exactly two games with Suji, one of which I replaced into really late and the other of which Suji was executed D1 with my vote, but iirc it was mostly a compromise vote and I didn't especially scumread them.

A fair bit in the past, a couple of games recently. We also played as scum together in the past.

I've always read him correctly, and can see such a stark difference between his Town and scum play. There are certain players on this site I can read really well, and he is one of them.

Actually in the most recent game he was a sk in a large normal that wasn't known of until late in the game, and I knew for a fact he wasn't Mafia. We had pretty much the same views on everything the whole way through. When the Mafia were eliminated and I had to make the call in ELO, Norwee resorted back to his scum play and I saw that as well and eliminated him in ELO.
