The foxhead medallion passively renders the user immune to direct effects of the One Power in flavor. Mat is indeed the fellow who has it during AMOL, though some other heroes get to use it, or else there ended up being 2 (can't recall). I can't think of any villains using it.

The commuter element doesn't make much sense to me, unless the commuting and awareness-of-being-targeted are separate effects (e.g., Mat has the accumulated knowledge of great generals of the past in his mind, so he's a great strategist).

@Ms Marangal I am seriously having trouble with your suspicion of Ghostlin yesterday. You said that you thought the dreamwalkers were town. You claim to be one. He breadcrumbed bolded words like dream in a series of posts and you still had him as scum in your reads list.

It's not adding up to me.

key words there being "passive" and "the One Power"; Commuters decide which nights to commute on, so it's not passive, and can be protected from the NK, and it's a real stretch to imagine the Power being the only way to kill in this game unless can channel. Nero, how do you see beli not understanding how fakeclaims work as a scum tell? Especially since he's using it to clear, not condemn? That seems like a town tell to me.

I'm not Mara per se--I think it's possible for her to be fakeclaiming, but quite unlikely.

Also, I know how fakeclaiming works, I've done it quite successfully as scum, derailing a deadline mob on me D2 to survive to the end of the game.

Because you are still under the impression that Mara's flavor in her claim makes her more likely to be town, and it is simply untrue.

Only because she hasn't read the books. How would someone who hasn't read the books know enough about Nynaeve's character to put together that claim? Lucky hit on a wiki? What search term would you enter on a wiki to find a good fakeclaim? Or are you suggesting she read far enough into the series to know enough to formulate that claim since the game started?

mod constructed fake claim makes more sense than that IMO. I know they are not universal at MS, but I have seen some.

But, I have doubts about Ms Marangal, mostly due to her scum-Ghostlin read on day 1.

My Nero read continues to be probable scum. Not really sure where he is going with the SK thing today... I would much rather lynch scum personally if we had a choice.

Currently believe Mara's claim... however I can see where Selkes is coming from with the dissonance regarding the walking stuff.

Beli, no, I think the mod gave her the FULL claim, including character and ability. That's pretty standard. It's not weird at all -- and it's by far the most common way to do fakeclaims in small theme games like this.

And I was feeling scummy on Selkies, but I also follow that point on Marangal and it made me like them more. If Marangal is scum (and I think yes obviously) then I am okay with Selkies as town. If I am wrong, then I will probably be pursuing selkies next.

No. It's very rare to see a theme game with source material that DOESN'T do this for fakeclaims. On this site, we don't like clearing or catching people with flavor. We like it to be play-related.

And GCBC, just because it's more likely for scum to get full fakeclaims doesn't mean that doesn't mean I don't expect people to produce full claims. Just covering all the bases. ThAd is most likely town, though. Which is why Marangal is scum (or one of the reasons).

I believe your read is genuine. I have doubts about her and so does Orcinus. It has to do with the apparent contradictions in her claim and her claimed beliefs about the dreamwalkers, and her read on Ghostlin.
