Mari, I got your message last night. The possibilities for last night:

A) Pooky is scum and was blocked
B) Thok was the killtarget and was protected
C) Scum chose not to kill

Only an idiot would have gone after Thok with Thesp protecting him night after night, so I'm going with (A) as the likely explanation. If there are two scum though, I'm surprised they'd choose the one on the chopping block to perform the kill. But then again, the scumteam hasn't exactly dazzled us this game so the simplest explanation is probably the best.

Pooky today, lynch sv, Mari or me if the game's not over.

......

I sent a message to SV, NOT MBL.... MBL, what was the message? I would like to verify it is indeed the same one....

Here's my logic for blocking pooky:

Scum might have thought that I wouldn't have blocked Pooky. They might have thought that I would assume scum wouldn't let pooky make the kill since he was the most scummy. Basically I went round-and-round with the scum think SV thinks scum thinks logic.

Yeah, I want to know an answer to this now, as it gives us a chance to catch two scum (MBL and SV if MBL is lying).

Nope. Not what I said. Not even close. I think we have our 2 scum. I don't want to give SV another chance to kill.

This game is horribly frustrating. If SV and MBL were scum together, she would've (or should've) given him the right message.

It could just be that scum don't receive your messages, making you coppish. (That would be consistent with Adele's play.)

If necessary, we can always no lynch and direct SV to vig somebody.

I'm strongly beginning to think there are some scum roles at work here. My current hypothesis is that MBL is a roleblocker and Pooky tried to nightkill Thok, but I'm toying with other possibilities. Specifically, I'm trying to fathom why sprectrumvoid would not have gotten the message, and why MrBuddyLee would claim to have received it when it appears he did not (or it was altered by scum).
Thok wrote:If necessary, we can always no lynch and direct SV to vig somebody.
This has great appeal if spectrumvoid is indeed potentially (or likely) scum. A no-lynch is starting to have some appeal regardless, as I'm curious what more message-sending would reveal. It's notable that spectrumvoid claims to be able to either roleblock or kill, which would be consistent with a mafia roleblocker who cannot use his ability if he commits the nightkill. I'm still inclined to think MrBuddyLee and Pooky are scum, but I'm trying to consider all possibilities, and the night actions/results are decidedly weird.

I'll point out that an SV/MBL mafia group removes most of the weirdness from the missing kills; it explains Night 4 (scumSV killed Pug) and Night 5 (scum no-killed to frame Pooky).

Night 1 still requires scum or SK targetting me, and Night 2 would fall under the whole Instant Karma thing.

It's worth noting that SV doesn't even have to be a roleblocker in this scenario; the only successful roleblock she's claimed is Mari, the night Mari has claimed to send a message to scumMBL (the mssing message can be explained by some combination of Instant Karma and scum not receiving messages).

Or them deciding to use it in their favor... I send the messages early, so there's a chance they get them before they choose to kill.....

I am now totally sure that scum: Pooky and Mariyta.

I definitely did not receive a pm. It's highly likely that Mari sent something to MBL, then lied about it.

Mariyta do you send the pm to the mod or to the player? Did you just claim that you send the pm early to the player? If so, you screwed up. I've never heard of a game that allows that. If you send it to the mod, all night choices should take place at the same time.

Upon hindsight, Adele and Mari could have been doing a distancing tactic, with mari choosing not to send anything but claiming to send it to Adele, and with Adele claiming not to receive anything. This fantastic tactic would have meant that once Adele was lynched, Mari would be vindicated. This also occured earlier in the thread, I remember Adele butting heads with Mari quite a bit. And this tactic would have worked if it wasn't for my successful RB.

Just in case you want me to vig tonight:
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!
This should up my percentage.

Anyone who thinks I didn't block and hence pooky isn't scum: I can't think of any reason why scum would voluntarily not kill last night. That simply doesn't make sense. We have 6 people alive, most probably 2 scum left. If they'd killed last night, that'll be 5 people, 2 scum, influence one more vote and they win. I also specifically mentioned earlier that I was also suspicious of mariyta. I could have blocked her, instead of Pooky. I've explained my reason for Pooky earlier, but it's a super round-about reasoning, and I purposely did it that way to try and evade being predicted by scum.

Scum: Pooky and Mari. Lynch either one, I'll vig the other, we win.

Here's another row just to boost my emotional %: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. That post was riddled with unlogic....

As I've stated before, I send the PM to the mod. I always decide early who I'm sending it to, so I send it to the mod right away.

I'm definately not comfortable giving Spectrum another kill night.

Last night- Evil has stumbled, now is the time to prevail.

Night 4- Do not fear Evil. Good shall prevail.

I lost N3. :(

N2: Love and faith can do no wrong.

N1: And I don't have N1.

(You're completely right, and that post was rubbish. I'm explaining why now:)

Confirm: Mari's message was the one I received.

This is proof:
spectrumvoid wrote:I can't quote my pm from the mod, but I think it hints that my roleblock succeeded.
I thought Mari would know what I was talking about, and help me with this, since the pm she sent me was about evil stumbling, and I explicitly said that I received a pm, and that it tells me that I succeeded.

I was trying to see who would step up and frame Mari if I claimed not to receive the pm. Rather obviously, the scum is MBL and Pooky.

I checked the rules, and I'm not allowed to quote pms, else I'd post a screenshot of the pm I received from mari. Paraphrasing, my role pm goes:

I'm Piper Halliwell. I'm powerful, and cranky. I can freeze things, or explode them. Because it's more difficult to explode them, I have a chance of failure, but I remember that my powers come from my feelings. Then there's a row of italics saying I'm a roleblocker, and a % vig, and that I can only do one action at a time.
