But that still does not equal "Bulba is scum because Porkens was killed.", as was being suggested. In post 924, BROseidon wrote: But you have a scum partner who might have wanted Porkens dead for a variety of reasons.
Uh....In post 868, Thor665 wrote:Gawds, why will no one sheep me on you? I don't get it. I sort of hate all of the players in this game,a dn they are wusses about expressing their reads and doing "anything at all" is apparently anathema to them.
Wasn't she town in Narnia, or do you have another game with her?In post 879, penguin_alien wrote:CTD, I guess scum might own their mistakes like that, and I agree that smargaret wasn't going to avoid being linked with the cxinlee lynch regardless. Too Many Heads before the force-replace.In post 897, penguin_alien wrote:BRO is right that his own play here is similar to Calvin and Hobbes, but I also think his town game is pretty different in confidence since then, and I don't know why he's reaching for that.
I'm not sure what you're getting at here.In post 927, BROseidon wrote:Valid, but why play so far in the other direction?
In post 922, BROseidon wrote:1) So you don't care about me because...
2) A few points here. First is the question of whether your explanation is honest. Scum lie, and if you're scum, that would mean you'd lie about this to back off of a push that you know doesn't have traction. Second then is, if you're telling the truth, what motivation would lead to not caring.
Gut wants to call the derp a town-derp, since you're probably not lying about the mistake coming from a place of missing context – scum-you would likely be more careful in approaching the thread. Additionally, lack of caring is generally more indicative of town than scum – scum have more incentive to keep track of all the moving game components so that they can move most efficiently through the game. The fact that you don't seem to care about what I'm doing, or at least much of what I'm doing, indicates a town mindset.
How is he obv town?In post 925, BROseidon wrote:Why would I vote obvtown?

You didn't mention her at all on D1. And you've been directly asked twice to explain your read on her, and "town vibes" didn't come up. Instead, you gave reasons that really weren't all that related to her own play, so no, it wasn't implied that you got a town vibe off of her. Could you expand on those, please? In post 898, Bulbazak wrote:I've been calling her some level of town since d1. I think it should be obvious that I got some level of a town vibe off of her.
While I wouldn't argue that Antihero's engagement with the game is anything to write home about, I seriously struggle to see where you're getting any sort of good vibes from Smargaret's.In post 913, penguin_alien wrote:At this point I'm getting better vibes from smargaret's engagement with the game than Antihero's.
Should it have bothered me? Your vote on Zek read as mildly town to me. There's no real upside for scum in pushing a policy lynch on a buddy. In post 921, BROseidon wrote:Why didn't my vote on Zek bother you?In post 821, CrashTextDummie wrote:BROseidon doesn't really bother me.

I didn't remember anyone asking me directly for my read on you, but checking back I see that PA was indeed "looking forward" to my thoughts. In post 936, Antihero wrote:i'm with whoever was saying that they're scumreading CTD. mostly gut from interactions with thor. also, he failed to give an opinion on my slot even though someone directly asked him for one; i think he left me at "mixed bag". convenient since i'm one of the borderline "might be able to lynch this" cases.
i approve of the marge lynch
Yeah, I went back and checked, and she was town miller. Who didn't claim until mass claim or something and unsurprisingly got lynched. She was also town in Mini 1527 and got vigged lateish in the game.In post 929, BROseidon wrote:Wasn't she town in Narnia, or do you have another game with her?In post 879, penguin_alien wrote:CTD, I guess scum might own their mistakes like that, and I agree that smargaret wasn't going to avoid being linked with the cxinlee lynch regardless. As I think about it, I don't have an active town read on her. But I'm leery of the wagon for how it seems to have persisted and having refreshed my (apparently crap) memory on her town games, this play really isn't out of line with what got her lynched/eliminated elsewhere as town.In post 943, CrashTextDummie wrote:While I wouldn't argue that Antihero's engagement with the game is anything to write home about, I seriously struggle to see where you're getting any sort of good vibes from Smargaret's.In post 913, penguin_alien wrote:At this point I'm getting better vibes from smargaret's engagement with the game than Antihero's.
Are you actually town reading Smargaret? It feels like you're actively avoiding taking an actual stance on her.
For the reasons stated, which, succinctly, can be summed up as 'he was newb enough to ask the unseen question the mod answered that is unquestionably a question from the scum team'In post 941, CrashTextDummie wrote:Then why the hell are you scumreading him?
I don't think you did other than telling me obver and over that my reads are 'bad'. You generically castigated me for my read there, you never pointedly supported your read.In post 941, CrashTextDummie wrote:I've given you reason to rethink your Pere read.
I don't think you did, even reference the above - you have no idea what my case on you was. I don't think you ever even asked, you just made a presumption and ran with it.In post 941, CrashTextDummie wrote:I tried getting to the bottom of your read on me to no avail.
I will agree you have given a Smargaret case.In post 941, CrashTextDummie wrote:I've given you a compelling Smargaret case. The ball is in your court to wisen up.
I don't think I do any of this. I think people jump to conclusions about my thoughts and decide they don't need to ask me a straight question. Again, reference the above. In post 941, CrashTextDummie wrote:You have an annoying habit of not giving straight answers and leaving your thoughts up to interpretation, and when someone's interpretation of your statements isn't to your liking, you accuse them of misrepping you. Insomuch as I prefer Pere, yes.In post 941, CrashTextDummie wrote:Do you object to a Smargaret lynch?
I've asked you the straight question of why you're scumreading me and you gave me the answer "because Yiley".Thor wrote:I don't think I do any of this. I think people jump to conclusions about my thoughts and decide they don't need to ask me a straight question. Again, reference the above.
You could prove me wrong by showing me where you asked for my case on Yiley and I gave an unclear answer. Or, maybe even any of my answers that you were unclear of.
This is an unclear answer. Let me rephrase the question: What is your current read on Smargaret? What is your case for her being town? What is your case for her being scum? What are your thoughts on my case against her? Am I covering everything? Am I going to have to do this every time I want to get a meaningful response out of you?Thor wrote:Insomuch as I prefer Pere, yes.
If I didn't, I'd probably be voting her, so obviously everyone not voting her objects to it on some level or another.
