I was in the middle of a catchup when I quoted and answered a post that was addressed to me. Ranmaru asked a question that had not been answered so I reiterated it.
Right before this post Marshy makes a call to all of those on wagons with single votes. He says it's basically the same as nonvoting. Why are you calling me out in specific for wanting to address non voters?
Why aren't you guys voting? Keep your vote in play.
I wasn't voting because I wasn't caught up to the game. I do think the nonvotes outside of me and Assembler are interesting.

@Mod: Do extra delegates gained through World Congress remain between phases of the game?
For instance, if PLAYER1 was elected leader of World Congress and got an extra delegate, would they still have two delegates on Day 2 or Day 3?
Other questions:
Is it possible for people to get extra delegates through means not via the World Congress?
If delegate stacking isn't a thing at all, then we could probably let just about anyone in the position, since it's still a democratic process to decide which resolutions pass.
That said, I'm sure scum get some factional bonus or some shit for being world leaders. There has to be some incentive.

This will not be answered.
So, if I understand this, then on later days, the host of the World Congress, once voted in, will receive extra votes so long as they are host?
At the start of Day 2, though, will there be a host? I'm curious what the World Congress votes will look like moving forward, but I understand if some of that info is role-related rather than public.

Consider the following:
Players will receive a certain number of delegates each Day (increasing as the Day phases go on) just for being members of the World Congress.
(For example, each member-state receives 1 delegate on Day 1.)
Players who are elected Host of the World Congress for that Day will receive additional delegate(s) tied to the Host position.
(For example, the Host receives 1 additional delegate on Day 1.)
There is a Host election at the beginning of each Day.
To clarify #3,
the previous Host (if applicable), retains their position and the delegates tied to it until a new Host is elected (if applicable)
. Any "new" delegates a Host gets (from the Day phase, or from other sources) are always tied to the Host position and can be assigned to support/oppose candidates in the election of a new Host (if applicable), just as any delegate could be. This is all meant to function exactly as it does in-game.

Okay, that makes sense. I was confused about how the Host's bonus votes worked.
So it's not AS detrimental, but the numbers I calc'd still fit the bill so long as scum can maintain host-hood and everything else stays constant.

oh. my apologies, i did miss that Ranmaru was the one who brought it up.
though i still don't like 925 or Joda's followup interest in why. if she's not caught up it seems like a pointless thing to say and there more for a token than anything else.
Ranmaru: i think Klazam could be scum, and Creature should be confscum if he doesn't start playing the game. i'll lend my vote when i feel like doing so.
