I don’t know how you can TR Insomnia after he lied about my Frost argument? First time you could excuse it as just lazy reading, but he not only maintained it after I corrected him but slyly changed the wording of his misrep to make it a bit more ambiguous.

I don't think he lied, I think it's a misunderstanding. I do see why you think he's scum, but I think you should make an attempt at reading it from a townSomni perspective. I agree with him that backed down and falling under pressure are similar enough concepts to be used interchangeably.

Ame, did you see where I literally explained and proved Insomnia was completely wrong, and he brushes it off as semantics, and later comes back with the same argument dressed up in different wording that I never said.

It isn’t a misunderstanding because I proved to him he was wrong. First time maybe, but the second time is a deliberate lie.

This is a useless argument because the very definition of a tunnel is that I don't care about someone brushing off arguments by choosing to focus on semantics, if anything, it makes me even scum read that person more. that's how tunnels work and how it works on me, most importantly.

For the most part i don't listen to what people have to say and if i scum read someone i'll go to high degrees of lynching them even if they claim it's not what they meant, because i see it as something else, and their word means nothing for me if i already scum read them.

Well, I'll be following the vote that Luca sets. There is still a small chance that Wippy left due to the discomfort in interacting with Ame. And I still believe in Insomnia as an incisive town, but it can be a problem if he establishes another similar tunnel, with another player, and the whole conflict begins again.

So Luca and Flippo are masons. We wait for Flippo to corroborate the claim before we lynch, though it's probably not necessary. I keep zoning out while trying to read through this 1v1 and keeping up with flow of events (didn't get a lot of sleep), but I'm townreading Insomnia's tone unless he has a really strong AtE game as scum. For the record, I've played with him once before (he was scum), and he was a lot more calm/composed and less spotlight grabbing, that game was half year ago though.

Your argument for why he was wrong wasn't valid though. You're focused on word choice where he was speaking of the intention behind the words. He misinterpreted your argument but based on the posts he quoted here, I think it's perfectly acceptable to have to have interpreted your argument as Aaron backing down/falling under pressure.

Ame, as I said the first time could have been a misunderstanding, BUT:

1) he didn’t reevaluate after realizing his reason for SR’ing me was completely wrong

2) he comes back in the thread later on when under pressure and resorts to the same argument, using different wording that I never said and he knows I didn’t say. It’s entirely disingenuous and only comes from a scum mindset. Don’t buy this tunneling nonsense - he’s only had any life to his posts when I’ve been on his case.

Like, just because Insomnia’s got angry because he’s been caught doesn’t make him Town.

Look at his general play this game - lacking in any solving or intent. Some effort early on but the well soon ran dry. He is apparently tunneled on me yet only responds reactively? It’s always me pushing him and him responding, yet he’s in a tunnel? Nonsense.

He didn't realize his reason was wrong. As I said, it was a perfectly valid interpretation. And since he thought you were scum, he didn't take your arguments against it seriously. He should have been more open-minded, yes, but that doesn't make him scum.
