Matt is INCREDIBLY obvtown. I would be shocked if a majority could be found to derplynch him. Take a breath man.

Glork is in general way too ethical of a player to have replaced out to gain advantage to his section by some sort of gambit.
He looked town more than Trollie sucks (although Trollie does suck), I'll reread Glork to remember why though.

could someone please entertain matt for a minute and read my ISO? If anyone else understands where he is coming from, I will reconsider my vote on him. I had him as a strong town read until he was down my throat as soon as I mentioned his
altered state
lol. But seriously, I just don't believe that he thinks I am scum and I won't be able to believe him until I hear a reason other than "i know trollie well, trust me"

I'll say this before my recap. It sounds a lot like Matt and Trollie were hanging out the other day and alcohol was involved. Given Matt's sudden flurry of posting, I'm tempted to think there was some out of game communication regarding this thread. Also, Matt, for shame you impugning the honor of Glork.

I am being serious on my honor when I say there was no outside communication besides me giving
Him a stare of hatred when I saw his post. I would not discuss the game outside of the game with anyone and I was not even drunk, I had had three drinks. IFC can't tell if trollie is using his I piss me off or not
But if he is being serious he is an asshole and is trying to cover his buddies by abusing our friendship that is all.

Also shmugen I have not played with glork and if everyone thinks so highly of him I'll back off of
That notion but trollies backtracking on his vote for me screams scum

How do you define 'incredibly' obvtown given his play this game? And by this, I mean describe specifically how what he is doing has been so obvtown and not just slather up a 'he plays this way as town, duh' porfavour.

Otherwise, stow your crazy and stop trippin' lies yo! *gangster sign*

Speaking from experience as a dude who has played online games with someone I know in real life, shit tends to get exaggerated in thread. You both should double check you're not just being overly paranoid and jumping to conclusions.

Of course, if it ends in your lynch then it's fine... keep doing it... *waves hand* come on... you know you want to...

I've been seething over this all day. I've also been busy with offline stuff; this is the first and last time I will mention this:

Every time anyone is accused of replacing out as a way of advancing their team... WTF, people? Glork replaced out due to ethical concerns, and now you're saying he would replace out strategically, to make his slot look good? What would be the benefit in that, anyway, since the moment one replaces out it is no longer their victory/loss? He no longer has any emotional investment in the game. And why would you even think that Glork's slot would ever look townier without Glork, who is well known as one of the best town players in the site?

I've known people who replace out strategically. That is an immediate go to blacklist, do not pass Go, do not collect $200. Glork is not like this and I don't look kindly on not-so-veiled suggestions that he would replace out for his slot's benefit.

And if I get any inkling that there was out-of-thread communication/hints between two players, no matter their alignment or mine, I'm replacing out. If there's something I respect in games it's game integrity, and I expect the same from everyone around me.

End of story.

Now, can you stop with the flood of crap posts and lynch scum? Yes? Thank you. More votes on kuribo.

hell, even i don't think glork would do that, and i was the reason he replaced out

All right all right I'm sorry for insinuating that.

I will say this now and will forever hold my peace. I have not, nor will I ever, discuss with ANYONE a game outside of the thread. Ok tierce?

Papa Zito wrote:I can outline some stuff for you Shmugen. If others want to chime in they can.

1. The Ellibereth vote was realy really bad. Really.
2. I felt your MattP vote was really poor.
3. You backed off of that vote under slightest pressure to sheep Chesskid
4. You then vote Slandaar on "policy" instead of keeping your vote on someone you actually think is scum
5. Once that proves unpopular, you return to vijay for ? reasons
6. This post:
Shmugen wrote:You lack the conviction I'm used to seeing in today's players. If you're voting Kuribo, that's supposed to mean you think he's scum.

...despite your earlier Slandaar vote + the amazing amount of votehopping

That's the meat of it from my end.

1. The Ellibereth vote came at a time where the thread was flowing at a fast pace. Not to say I have a townread on Elli now, but the Elli vote was glorified RVS on a player who, as it turns out, doesn't respond to that sort of thing.
2. As you'll have it. I saw a player voting me solely for thinking Tiercescum wouldn't go for something so off the wall for her first post. I've been in a game or two with MattP *Remind me, Matt, were you in Pine's Lightning Mafia?' and didn't recognize this Matt as the town one I've played with.
3. I meant what I said. Chesskid made some convincing statements regarding Vijay, and looking back, so did Kuribo. Note that MattP had one post between my vote on him and my change to Vijay. I moved from RVS to slot with behavior I didn't like to slot with a light case made against it that rang true.
4. Slandaar's presence was tearing this game apart. We lost Glork because of it, and many were lurking until the shit stopped flying. If it could make the game fun again, I'd have gladly taken the handicap of starting this game with a potential two town down.
5. Already mentioned. With the Slandaar vote no longer necessary, I moved back.
6. I wouldn't say my vote has been hopping too badly. Calling people out on silly statements, like Near saying there could easily be zero scum in that list when that list contained his lynch target, is supposed to spark discussion of what the hell Near is talking about. Not to sound too much like a scrub, but this is the sort of play/scumhunting I see all the time from my peers.

As for Near, a quick ISO skim has multiple things others have already talked about that I really don't like. There's HEAPS of posts all on defense, the 'reaction' to the fakest dayvig I've ever seen feels sour, and the arguments made are, for the most part, insubstantial. I'm tempted to chalk this up to 2008 site meta/rust? The above points stand regardless.

Fine, Glork was town enough that I'm willing to excuse Trollie's stupidity for now. I don't think Glork would have done what he did to forward a scum group, plus it pretty much proves that Kuribo and Glork are not both scum.

Yea the idea that Glork (and this is not indicative of alignment, its indicative that Glork is good people) would replace out for pushing ahead the TEAM and not getting anything from it well.

Stewie wrote:Also Spyrex, I know you're capable of contributing more than you are currently. I am going to chalk this up to the shitfestiness of the thread so far. However, that shit is NOT going to fly going forward in this game. Right now I'm reading you as scum because you're only posting enough to get by. Step your fucking townie game up.

<3

I approve of the hate.

Now focus it into doing something.

This game apparently was built way too close to the LSD factory because it is straight up moonjuice all over.

I'll make this promise because 1.) today is terrible and 2.) it needs to end:

If we can pull it together and succeed in lynching someone before page FORTY FIVE GOD IN HEAVEN I will actually sit down and reread the entirety of the slog and put the battle hat on and go to battle.

I can not do that today. Or, more precisely, I will not. Today is a slag and its not /emo WORLD IS ENDING but it needs to die.

I dont think Kuribo is town and I wish Panama would use his doublevote better. I MAY RENEG ON OUR DEAL MR

I think that there are way too many fractures and tangential talks going on and it needs to collapse into a bloodbath. Fast, hard and deep.

And did my response sound scummy?

My reaction to the fake dayvig. Could be scummy I guess. I realized that it could have been a fake dayvig, but as scum would have continued to be like OMG I am Town You suck. Actually even as town, I could have done that too I guess just to make it clear that I am town.(Sorry Staeg and maybe others, I think you hate this kind of argument....... but this is how I think, OK). I guess I didn't think fast enough.

My arguments being insubstantial. I admit it's sort of true, but it's not that I'm not trying. I will try harder.

And yes, yet another defense on myself
