This game is a great example of how a firm town voice can be both empowering and challenging to town - watching Menalque become the pivotal voice in GBJ's lynch and then make that final vote on the town cw was really interesting.

Really well done town. This was such a tidy well played game.

And yes Billy/Kanna were the masons. sorry you didn't get to reprise the role, Micc.

once gbj went down yesterday this didn't feel particularly winnable

i'm p sure i could have gotten the billy mislynch today if he wasn't a mason, but i don't think i could have gotten 3 mislynches i'd need to win once gjb got lynched

@gbj i did misplay this, sorry. i should have hammered non at the end of day 1 (although we probalby lose day3 there?), but i really am very vla on fridays now and i never got back to the thread before day ended

i think that last 24 hours or so of day1 kinda dictated the game

enjoyed playing with all of you again @mena, billy, micc, gl; gg, you lot played well

my best guess is that it was billy/kanna?

Hey great game everyone! Was an enjoyable one throughout, thanks everyone for keeping it chill. I think town did a great job of cycling through paranoia about everybody for due diligence and #content but ultimately landing on the truly indicative stuff, Menalque MVP probably for moving me off Map to GBJ. I guess scum danced a little too long around the Non Imh lynch d1, I've made that mistake before, a good reminder to take the mislynches when you can and not let them fall off.

As always was a well-modded game, thank you TW for hosting!

I was a little confused as well lol I thought my D1 disagreement with the non wagon and then pushing scum GBJ near conf!towned me

I can kinda see some skepticism over my slot but we worked it out well. Good stuff everybody!

Also big sad is that this is my last newbie game as a newb ); I got put on some stacked teams in literally every game I played lmao. Luck is with me... For now.

I figured in 941 that Kanna was mason due to Billy so clearly not considering the possibility of her being scum.

Yeah, I wasmt trying to really hide it at that point. If she got killed instead of me I'm still conf town that day and not a mislynch target so it accomplished the same thing. Really well played and as usual my reads suck. I legit didnt see anything from GBJ different from normal passive play, and I think I just conf!biased Skitt town, but thank god I had her at least as the next lynch.

I think it was because I was content with the fact that with masons and micc she was definitely getting lynched tomorrow if she was scum, so I didn't want to lynch her today because if she was town I wanted to work with her on her reads

Billy, my main bit of feedback for you would be to try to obfuscate a little bit more who your mason buddy is if you're not going to both claim at the same time

also, did you crumb that it was kanna in such a way that we'd find that it was definitely her after you were dead?

@gbj I don't think you played badly by the way, I just think that this town worked p well together and you made what I think is a fairly classic newbie error as scum which is posting but not scumhunting

honestly you always do such a good job of sounding town and just being pleasant to play with that it makes me reluctant to lynch you even when I kind of ~*know*~ you're scum

like during the night when I was rereading I was about 100% on you being scum but wanted to see how you entered

but then like you gradually talked me out of it to a point where I wasn't even sure you were the most likely to be scum

there was one post you made in particular that I found persuasive (obviously for the wrong reasons with the benefits of hindsight) so I need to find that and work out why it was convincing

i used to be utterly unable to ~sound~ townie in that situation

i do think if billy wasn't masons i could have gotten that mislynch. it would have been an uphill battle but theoretically doable

once he claimed masons i was p much done

also i was p sure uncrowned was a vt for the very same post you were pr-reading him for

i was also p sure it was masons by the time day2 started but i didn't know who they were

i actually think that the current setup is more townsided than people think it is
if you can't find the prs by like n1/early day2 it's p hard to win

real talk I think nearly all mafia games that aren't larges are overly townsided unless they're mountainous
